..I think it is fair to say that DJT transformed into a leader during the course of the campaign, whereas Cruz became the exact opposite of what many of us thought he was—it is no chore now for me to fully support Mr. Trump...

He is in the process of being excised from the party.
He will not receive funding or backing by the party for his run for Senate, in either money or access to party apparatus.

He will also be running against someone in the state who has firmly backed trump this election cycle. That individual, whoever they may be... WILL get all the money, support, and exposure they need to slaughter mr T...

ANY and I mean ANY drugs, alcohol, or women issues in his life will be “leaked” by the party apparatus... He and his wife will be exposed for their relationship being in name only seeing that they actually live apart for most of the last several years... and SHE is in a financially adulterous relationship with her Job, Goldman Sachs.

There is virtually NO chance of Ted being elected again... UNLESS he repents, full bore, full frontal and with a sincere heart, demonstrated by public and political Seppuku.

If not, he will be divorced and sent back to his native land, where he was born... Canada.

the man is a liar. and a covenant breaker. unfaithful in little, means unfaithful in much... and he has no credibility left amongst those that actually measure integrity for public office.

Initially I thought he was a true conservative. But the man does not tell the truth and does not keep his word. He would make a great democrat.

“As I watch this election cycle, I am reminded that many of the Jews in Jesus days refused to recognize Him as the Messiah.

I have better understood that reality watching people refuse to recognize greatness in Trump.

Folks, he’s answer to prayer. Do we want God’s help or not?

Will we accept the imperfect man that has been sent and is perfect for this situation?”

What you wrote perfectly expresses how I feel too. Mr. Trump has really turned out to be God’s Choice for America. Those so-called Christians better get with God’s Program or get out of the way!

I don’t trust Ted Cruz one iota. He is nothing more than a sore loser and a big time globalist. If he were the nominee, Hillary would be kickin’ his lyin’ butt right now.

“You are helping to get Hillary Clinton elected . So You will own the death and destruction that witch Hillary and her army of Muslims and illegals will torture America with.

You are traitors against America, you are for evil and against freedom, your name will live in infamy !”

That is the absolute weakest straw man argument repeated ad nausem each and every election cycle. We pitch that and we might as well sew it up! For those still on the fringe (not I mind you) Trump needs to open to them and give them a reason to vote for him. This is not the other way around (come to the candidate. If Trump loses it will be because of Trump and his team and no one else.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Every Republican that does not support Trump from now to the election should be expelled from the Republican Party.

“You are traitors against America, you are for evil and against freedom, your name will live in infamy !

Go back and crawl in a hole in the ground you miscreant weasels. get out of my country”

Amen. They are indeed traitors against America, they are evil and need to get out of our country. But, I pity the poor country that they choose to go to!

>>>I believe Cruz had a lesson of faith to learn. Namely that the religious model of his pappy, dominionism, is a lousy guide to the work of Christ.<<<

You make a good point. The sovereignty of God is never dependent upon religion or man as God is above BOTH. Humility before God has to do with recognizing that sovereignty, and the willingness to bow one’s heart and knee to it. Learning about that sovereignty in a personal way...the way that one KNOWs in every way, not just with the head, but in life giving reality, can be a very hard lesson.

Another famous personage who had a rather narcissistic personage from the bible was Joseph, the young son of Jacob who had the coat of many colors. He sure didn’t mind gloating before his father and his brothers about how special HE was! It wasn’t until he’d been humbled and brought to reality about who he was compared to who God was, that he became useful to God.

Moses was yet another who thought mightily of himself. Raised as the son of Pharaoh, he thought he was above the law until he learned he was seen killing a man, and then he had to be on the run. Eventually, he had to take his shoes off and bow before the living God before he could be of any heavenly use. Even still, he got a bit cocky when he split the rock in annoyance and temper and coudn’t go into the promised land. But still, the Rock of Ages sought to lift him up as the most humble man on earth.

It’s my hope and my prayer that Cruz learns this most difficult and valuable of lessons throughout his life. If his heart is truly for the things of God, then there will be many changes over time in his life.

Until then, he just isn’t the man for the job and he needs to have the brotherly love and personal courage to support the man that God intends to use for the time being.

Whether he thinks Trump is ‘Christian enough’ isn’t the issue. God expects him to love his enemy and to pray for him.

Republican or democrat, do you really see a difference now days?
For years I have called them all REPUBLICRATS or DEMICANS.
Anybody who owes greater allegiance to a Party than to our CONSTITUTION and NATION should be outed and EXECUTED.

Really?

They have a chance to vote against Hillary Clinton, she who thinks that we are a basket of deplorables. She who thinks that we’re irredeemable. She who has said that Christians must change their beliefs or go to prison.

And these people choose to refuse to fight against her because of pique?

Sorry, that is utterly and completely contemptible.

Sure it’s contemptible however it is Trumps job to bring people to him (give these folks) a reason to vote for him. Never in an election should someone have to feel forced to pull the lever. He’s interviewing for a job and either his principles align with the folks he’s attempting to sway or he isn’t.

There are many reason I can see that would give a conservative pause to vote for him.

Trade
Minimum wage
Entitlements
Government expansion

Just to name a few

Yes and no. I find that voters tend to view government in different ways, some as consumers of government and some as the owners.

Consumers will absolve themselves of the consequences of their non-vote.

Owners will take ownership of the consequences.
