I think there are a few reasons.
1. Hillary is not well liked. Her support has always been soft and not enthusiastic. You would think that as the campaign reaches the finale, she would be attract lots and lots of people. She simply is not.
2. The Hillary campaign was thinking that as the campaign went on, more and more people would just naturally show up because they are the Clintons and democrats (and that should be enough, right??) They are tone deaf that no one wants them other that the media and corporate cronies.
3. She has run a poor campaign. Hillary has never successfully run an campaign out side of her senate run in liberal New York. She had lots of trouble fending off Bernie Sanders among all people. One of the big reasons why she got the nomination is because of the Super Delegates (who can vote however they want regardless of the outcome of primaries and caucuses). She also got A LOT of help from the DNC with Debbie and Donna.
4. Hillary is sick. She has Parkinson’s and does not have the stamina to have an aggressive schedule.
5. Hillary and the dems were expecting a Jeb Bush or a Marco Rubio to be their opponent. These push-over RINO’s would be easy to define and beat just like McCain and Romney. They instead are running against a tough populist who hits back harder than he is hit.
6. Hillary has ALWAYS expected the MSM to carry her water. She therefore does not have to work hard and this reflects in her sluggish campaign.
7. The polls, primarily done by liberal MSM and Universities have skewed the samples to give her a lead nearly all the time. An image of invincibility what is simply a farce.
8. Wikileaks, Project Veritas, Anthony Weiner and the FBI were not supposed to be factors at all by now.
In summary, Hillary expected this campaign to be a cake walk with the media helping her along the way. She actually believed that everybody loves her (because the media have praised her endlessly over the years). She was expecting to run against a RINO that would cave and self destruct on his own. She was expected to win easily because she is ENTITLED to. That is what has not happened. She is likely going to get a full dose of reality a week from now.

What you can do, actually the only thing you can do, is read and regurgitate your CTR talking points. The same points that leave out the tens of millions of shy or normally non voters for Trump, the democrat blue collar vote for Trump, and the ten or twenty to one enthusiasm turnout difference proven over and over again at Trump rallies versus Hillary getting drunk in a gay bar on Sunday morning while wheezing to thirty people.

I hope so. On the one hand, they might just steal the election. On the other, we *might* be on the cusp of the election that replaces Reagan’s 18% win as the standard by which blowouts are measured. The dichotomy between our possible fates is both stark and maddening.
She has the Electoral College. Trump needs to win them.
Here, here. Another thought: The election is over and she knows it because of the new scandal (this one with teeth). But to keep the country stable appearances of a contest must be played. Betcha every free minute she has is spent in attempting to stop the next wikileaks drop.
In part because she is as sick as a dog and big rallies in particular (if she could amass them) would exacerbate her symptoms.
In part because she hurts her cause when she appears in public.
And in part because they are planning to steal the election 20 different ways.

They certainly photoshop some of the outside crowds by filling people into a sparsely attended event. It is difficult because of the chance of conflicting photographs appearing later.

You are laughing, but it is no joke. Hillary has been using entertainers on college campuses to draw kids for a free concert and then she, or Bill, or Michelle show up for the finale.
Now, outside of college towns, she is reliant on star power to pull the bodies to listen to her screech. J-Lo was the most recent of those appearances.
And on a small scale, Hillary is party crashing down ticket local African American politicians’ campaign stops.
Spiralling down the drain, but may still win where she’s unwelcome.
I have a hankering for a large public OJ like trial for Billary.

That's why it will be huge. People are rarely for something - they're way more likely to be against something. The Left is a perfect example - they define themselves by what they're against, because nothing they're for does anything but kill millions of people.
This time however, people are against Hillary because she's going to kill them, and everyone knows it who isn't a mouth breathing liberal. You don't see polls about that. Hillary isn't even hiding it anymore, openly demanding war with Russia.
Me for one.
