Now that right there; that’s just poor etiquette. You DON’T give gift cards that will only cover 1/5th of the cost of dinner for two. Even the cheap joints offer two-for-one, so any gift card you buy should cover at least HALF. It’s one thing if you regularly drop $200+ on dinner with your wife. But if you RARELY EVER spend more than $100? No dice.
Now, it’s true that $50 is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but dear auntie still needs a tête-à-tête with Ms. Post.

I more read it that Hillary was telling Huma to string along the Benghazi guys who were under fire, so they wouldn't appeal directly to the military or the President for help and go around her.
So her betrayal is profound - Hillary betrayed everyone, the guys on the ground, the military and the President. All of them, deliberately, and said "the longer the better" while our men were fighting for their lives.

National Command Authorities (NCA. . president and Sec Def) approve military operations involving border crossing authority.
Sec State has a significant role in assisting the NCA make that decision, meaning the Sec State helps the NCA evaluate the political implications. There are many others that are involved and have a voice but do not have a vote.
The theater CINC received his orders from the NCA, and that is how the chain works.
The theater CINC cannot on his own grant BCA. He needs NCA approval before he invades.
