I disagree. Open threats to prosecute are not camaign slogans. He said he would prosecute and he should.

I think there has to be prosecution to put the people involved in this current corrupt government crime will not be tolerated.

I hope they wait to prosecute Hillary after Trump takes office.

Maybe not... Sure, he can pardon her. Go ahead.

But he can't pardon himself...

The white house will try to insulate her with a pardon, but I doubt even Barrack knows all the things that she can be imprisoned; proof of Vince Foster’s death might be just what is needed on top of an Obama pardon to jail her daughter’s alleged father, no?

I guess Obama is going to kill the Turkey this year and use the turkey pardon for Hillary - Thanksgiving is a good day for that one.

That’s what I said. That he should prosecute! I was disagreeing with someone stating that he should not. See the post I was responding to.

No, in my understanding, due to an 1867 Supreme Court ruling, presidential pardons can cover all unknown, uncharged crimes. However, I do not believe pardons discharge financial responsibilities.

Trump needs to “play cool” on prosecuting Hillary until the very instant he gets sworn in, then he should move.

Let Obama think he is not going to need to pardon her for the next 2 months, then once he gets sworn in, hammer the hell out of her.

I hope he is playing coy with Hillary to prevent the idea of Obama needing to pardon her, then once sworn in he can setup an independent investigation to go after her which should at least nail her on something.

More than anything, I want this country to know just how EVIL the woman is that so many of them voted for! I want her crimes to be known, whether or not she gets punished.

What? Is 0bama going to pardon the entire DNC? If Hillary skates, there are dozens to take her place.

Have you not been part of the majority of Trump supporters who have been demanding to ‘drain the swamp’?

Our country has become a banana republic while using almost every agency to defy laws and use those appointed to power to hide their crimes. That is a banana republic! Bringing law and order and rooting out corruption is an end to such staggering lawlessness. Drain the Swamp!! They are not too big to prosecute and not to big to jail. Period.

“White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Mr. Obama is hopeful that Mr. Trump will follow long-standing tradition of not punishing political opponents through the criminal-justice system.”

A clever mis-charactatization. It wouldn’t be Trump, but rather a grand jury oF private Americans handing up any indictment.

They can’t be bad people.

Because their supporters would be bad people too.

They will not read or listen to anything because they want to be the good guys.

If they face the truth about the Clintons, they can’t be the good guys anymore. They’ll be just as bad as us Trump voters!

“White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Mr. Obama is hopeful...”

It probably should read “White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Mr. Obama is hoping and praying..”
