ps: please see my post number 19

It is just my opinion of course, but anyway I’d be honored if you’d kindly take a quick look and consider it.

thanks!

...Salah had not returned meals as of Sunday evening.

This reminds me of Cesar Chavez' alleged "hunger strikes". When concluded, he somehow managed to look just as fat as always. (To appearances, actually gaining weight?)

I bet it will be like Jesse Jackson’s hunger strike where he just stayed on it four hours at a time!!!

We don’t do Hashem’s job except in specific circumstances. That’s one of the things that separates us from the idolaters.

My preference with terrorists is lead poisoning. It’s a shame that didn’t happen with this one.

Berakoth 58a:...” He noticed that the man was about to inform them that he had called them asses. He said: This man is a persecutor, and the Torah has said: If a man comes to kill you, rise early and kill him first.” ———————————which i believe derives from several biblical teachings including exodus 22:1: “ If a thief be found breaking in, and be smitten so that he dieth, there shall be no bloodguiltiness for him.” I respect your humanitarianism, I just think it’s misplaced when it comes to those trained and hell-bent on murdering you and your people. If you let a Moslem terrorist murder gangster live, you’re endangering everybody else in your community. ( Indeed, one might argue that you share his blood guilt). Respectfully yours,

Of course self-defense is one. We don’t stand there and just let someone kill us. For example, Israel took out Iraq’s nuclear facility and the whole world condemned it, including the US.

Very different circumstances when someone is in prison. The last public execution was decades ago.

Taking life is a very serious thing for a Jew since our brains are hardwired to preserve it. B”H we have Torah to tell us exactly what those exceptions are.

Also, I’m not a humanist.

Calling Torah “the wrong rules” is ridiculous.

Ok. But I didn’t call Torah wrong. In fact, I cited Torah and Talmud for you. of course, I’m very open to correction or discussion based on Torah etc. or any reasoned views. You are also very welcome to ask your rabbi too and get back with me later if you wish. I acknowledge that there are many much more learned than I. Thanks and all the best to you

Give him the “boats” treatment.

He won’t starve to death on that method...and nobody else will go on a hunger strike after watching him die...

All you need to know is the connection between Jew and Hashem never severs. Only Hashem knows your thoughts and intentions.

The Levites could hold no land and were assigned the cities for a specific purpose.
