“Still, a state holds no right to secede under federal law.”

A way to accomplish the same thing is just start limiting the federal government’s role in a state’s affair’s.

A number of topics lend themselves to this approach but tackling taxation, citizenship and health care/welfare are big issues

It would be nice to have CA join Texas in that effort

Still, a state holds no right to secede under federal law. Californians would need to pass an amendment to the US Constitution, which requires the blessings of the other 49 states.

LOL. All the liberals who imagine they would be creating some kind of Socialist paradise would quickly find themselves residents of Mexico — with no citizenship or land ownernship rights.

Let them declare it.
Let them make a move to enforce it.

Then we’ll have “Trump’s March to the Sea”, San Fran down I5 to San Diego.

Would solve just about everything.

My best friend asked if Id like to spend our annual weekend in San Francisco...I looked at her and said...Um, NO. Until California gets its roots back...not interested...luckily I saw most of it over past 50 years...so sad, as the weather (south) is great.

Somebody tell these idiots that when they go, they also take their share of the national debt with them = $3.55 TRILLION for their 55 million residents.

Prediction - If California attempts to secede Federal troops will sweep in and load every non-citizen onto trains and will ship them to the middle of Sonoa Mexico. L.A. will lose 60% of its population.

What is the state’s net receipt from the Federal treasury given that 34% Of the nation’s welfare recipients live in California but only … 12% … of the U.S. population resides here.

Suddenly the bigoted liberals in California have discovered “states rights” again? Remember, it was the DEMOCRATS who seceded from the union, partially because of their devotion to enslavement of human beings (disguised through a veil of self determination).

Frankly, I wouldn’t be disappointed if these clowns left. But if they’re going to be consistent, they should permit the eastern conservative side of the state to remain in the union.

Hitlery’s lead in California is about 3.5 million votes, more than making up for her national popular vote total.

Let California go. It’ll sink into degeneracy even faster without our tax dollars propping it up.

This is just like when celebs threaten to move, except much bigger.

We’ll never get that lucky, it’s just a pipedream.

It is true that most of California doesn’t belong in the USA, but they’ll never leave, unfortunately.
