Conservatives and Libertarians should welcome this!!! California as it is now will not survive intact. Soon after secession it will almost certainly break into several smaller “states” or countries. Some of those will want to re incorporate themselves back into the U.S. I’m almost certain that the ones that will want back in will be the ones where there are more conservative residents! We should try everything we can to push the looney Left to succeed in this plan! It would be a once and life time opportunity. California is going to become a failed state and it must be allowed to do so on it’s own for the rest of the U.S. to finally open their eyes and see! If we don’t allow them to do so they will sink the rest of the U.S.A. as they have already done by turning all the states east and north of them into Blue and Purple States!! I’m hoping we conservatives and libertarians see this for the opportunity that it is!!!

Both DiFi and Boxer have been notorious for never delivering a ‘decent’ return of California federal tax revenue to the state for programs or agendas like some states ..
Babs never pulled anywhere near the same amount back here for this state’s citizenry, legal or otherwise.. less than 80% is my guestimate of late..
We all know how DiFi and hubby have profited quite nicely for years off gubamint titts, meanwhile she was little better than BaBS in RoI tax revenue-wise.

I for one would not be participating in any “March to the Sea” to keep California in the Union. I will not take up arms to keep any state in a Union it’s people have chosen to leave. Let them go.

Conservatives need to sop repeating the lie that California takes more than it gives in federal dollars. It’s simply not true. It makes us no different than the liberals who live in bbbkes with their own “facts.” The truth is numbers from 2013 14 show california paying in $369B and receiving $343B.
If CA did secede I have not doubt that without the restraint of the Republicans in congress those billions managed on their own would quickly become an upside down disaster just like CA state budget is now.
Let them leave. The U.S. will then move all their military bases to a country that is part of the U.S. Kalifornica can defend themselves when/if they are stupid enough to bail.
I’ll be on one of those borders with a rifle if we’re ever able to successfully pass the turd that CA has become (and I say this as a man who had planned to move to CA ~20 years ago).
