We just need a 55 gallon barrel of Government Round-up!
I’ve said it until I am blue in the face.
Sell the spectrum and keep a skeleton crew to deal with those areas that are assigned to national security.
Please tell us why you think so?
Seems you HAM guys need a regulator for a tiny swath - let’s solve your issue and kill the world peace net neutrality monster too,
And amen. The FCC is staffed with greedy and evil democrat wolves.
This is a good idea.
FCC is only the beginning of draining the swamp. So many federal agencies that are sucking the taxpayers dollars right out of our pockets—they need to go. President Trump is the one man with the courage to say YOU”RE FIRED! to:
FCC
Legal Services Corporation
Dept of Homeland Security
Internal Revenue Service
Federal Emergency Management Agency
Department of Education
U.S. Department of Agriculture
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
Job Corps
Dept of Transportation
and more
Wasn’t the FCC the one to push for a ‘fairness’ of radio content?
excellent list - and idea
Agree. The FCC should go.
Merry Thanksgiving to you and yours as well...... Stay Safe !
You Betcha!!
Actually, 79% of adult Americans listen to terrestrial radio. Still an important medium!

When the Fairness Doctrine was being applied against people from the 1930’s to the 1970’s, the notion of abolition of the FCC came into vogue.
Radio preacher Dr. Carl McIntire, who’s radio station was shut down on Fairness Doctrine grounds in the early 1970’s, said the FCC should be abolished in favor of an organization with a very limited mandate.
In the case of radio and television, the notion was to have an organization that made sure no one interfered with someone else’s broadcasting signal and otherwise leave the broadcasters alone.
Halting its overreach would be a good idea - but total abolishment, no. Certain things like keeping stations within boundaries so someone else can’t just set up shop next door and overtake your assigned frequency is an essential and positive purpose it serves. Some of the recent internet regulations, however...not so much...maybe these comments are a warning to cut things like that out.
Excellent.
ROFL!! Hardly likely with this neighbor, but if it were true I'd be asking for some "free samples" rather than complaining!
