If we weren’t sure before we’re sure now - they understand nothing about us but nonetheless, they sure do hate us.

The “flyover states” need to step into the urban ones and clean the mess up.

I have to wonder if half the votes cast in urban areas are legitimate. There certainly seems to be no effort made whatsoever to verify or guarantee the integrity of elections in many urban areas; with the open encouragement of illegal voting, urban election results should probably not be treated as legitimate.

We’re racist, fascist, homophobe and transgenderphobe - we’re just rednecks in the sticks.

I’m a Trump voter living in rural Colorado. I fit the description and my values are circa 1870. I wear them with pride.

Poor Duane Townsend feels sorry for me. He can save it - after what liberalism has done to America, rolling it back is progress.

No wonder he’s full of bile, rage and resentment at the election result of November 8, 2016. With or without his help, America Will Be Great Again.

Let that stick in his craw.

I’ve been thinking that for a while now. Partitioning the country is the only way to “get along” with them. It’s that, or the unthinkable alternative.

I think we need to have a new Noble Prize. “The Nobel Prize in Stupidity” These people in the Fake Media are setting new world records in stupidity every day. This isn’t parody, it isn’t satire, this is what passes for thoughtful rational commentary in the “Media”.

Consider the facts. Without what this obnoxious child calls “flyover land” this moron would be sitting in the dark, starving, freezing to death, in a ill built wooden building.

That's EXACTLY right. The popular vote total that liberals are so fond of quoting when it meets their needs, represents just under half of the voters in America, and a lot more of the overall territory. And our lives and values matter every bit as much as the snooty elites living in their cloistered little enclaves.

The other unmentioned elephant in the room is that the US Senate, the House of Representatives and most of the state governments are controlled by Republicans, which is more indicative of the true, overall will of the people. Screeds like this one decrying the author's fellow Americans for being so regressive only focus on the Presidential election, and ignore the bigger picture.

Which is what you would expect from liberal "intellectuals".

Trump and Congress need to decentralize DC by relocating some federal infastructure (e.g., certain federal agencies) to flyover country....We don’t need it all squashed into DC and it does not serve the whole country well.

Yes....

but then it wouldn't follow the model of Versailles would it?

"...Versailles was the seat of political power in the Kingdom of France from 1682, when Louis XIV moved the royal court from Paris, until the royal family was forced to return to the capital in October 1789, within three months after the beginning of the French Revolution. Versailles is therefore famous not only as a building, but as a symbol of the system of absolute monarchy of the Ancien Régime...."

Why you'd have lonely isolated bureaucrats deprived of the opportunities of conniving, plotting, spreading rumors, and currying favors from the more powerful bureaucrats/mandarins, and free lunches, dinners, and parties.

Where's the fun in that? How would one know where one stands in the hierarchy?

Damned boring just doing the job you were hired for.

The suburbs and rural parts of blue states are red, too.

How much would the tall blue towers be missed?

Boston’s Fox affiliate WFXT 25 is supposedly de-emphasizing the Fox in its nickname, news coverage, etc because supposedly people confuse them with Fox News Channel.Supposedly people are complaining.Their news show ratings
are sliding as it is.No idea if they decide to unaffiliate with Fox.(Station owned by Cox Comm.;had been owned by Fox
but News Corp swapped them to Cox so Fox
could own a station in San Fran...49ers games etc (what is Kaepernick’s team now, 1 and 12 or something?)

Both areas deep blue.

What a sick, arrogant, twisted ass. We have been hostage to the likes of Carter, Clinton, Obama for years. I have been hostage to supporting lazy, demanding nonworkers eating my taxes and destroying my country for years. This idiot needs to look around at his city Detroit and see what liberals have done.

I have been forced against my will to watch half naked gays march in the street. I have been forced to use their political correctness or be vilified. Give me hardworking Christians who love the Constitution and their country any day and let me be free.

Considering the blue bastion tend to match large concentrations of Federal Government building, probably very little.

“The term wasn’t commonly used in a political manner until recently with the emergence of the Tea Party and the election of Obama.”

Ha, I first heard the term in the early 1990s. The liberal elites scorned us long before anybody outside of Illinois had heard of Obama.

Yes, DC needs decentralization. It would stop the mash up on the eastern seaboard. And the jobs might be redistributed...I’d like to hear non-black voices once in awhile when I call a US gov site. I bet there are whites who could do the job, too.

And speaking of jobs...it would be great to work for the USDA our in the field. Mostly they don’t exist anywhere close to where I live.

They hate progress.

How is teaching kindergartners about homosexual sex and the greatness of transgenderism considered progress? Especially as we see society continue to breakdown and devalue all human life!

But we ALSO must teach kindergartners to not just deny God's will, but deny his very existence! When before, when we did value His will and extolled His values, we didn't have mass shooting two to five times a year!

When did the meaning of "progress" become "deluded, expedited advancement towards self-destruction"?!?

I see there’s only one state in the union that PE Trump didn’t win a single county... Massachusetts. I thought he’d have a chance in Plymouth county, but it wasn’t to be.
