I know, but I think He’s just too big for the small screen. I just appreciate any story that seems to show the essence of His love for us.

You’re welcome and I have enjoyed your story. I haven’t seen that movie, for some reason, but I will have to put it on my list! My hubby watches so many Hallmark Christmas movies that by the time the 25th gets here, I’m pretty done with all of it. LOL!

Except for the real story, of course.

George C Scott did do a good job, but the original is best and gives more the feel of Dickens’s London at the time.

I did not know that about James Stewart! That sort of explains his emotions in that movie better, for sure!

This was a hard quiz to do accurately. For example, my favorite Christmas thing is the music and then the food. Neither were given as examples.
Your Christmas is Most Like: A Very Brady Christmas
For you, it's all about sharing times with family.
Even if you all get a bit cheesy at times.

I never saw that one, but I’ve never been much of a Brady Bunch fan. I think all those kids overwhelmed me. I came from a small family.

I never watched the Brady Bunch ... my favorite Christmas movie is “The Christmas Story”.

Hi Everybody!

((((HUGS))))

Just got in from Pub Night, but my voice is still raspy.

I sounded like Louis Armstrong tonight.

Oh Well...could be worse.

I had a 4-piece band tonight, Little sis on box drum, B-I-L on lead guitar, friend on Cello, and me on vocals and Rhythm guitar.

Did some Van, Floyd, Dead, and original songs.

Good Night all!

Greetings to all at the Canteen!

To all our military men and women, past and present,

Your Christmas is Most Like: How the Grinch Stole Christmas

You can't really get into the Christmas spirit...
But it usually gets to you by the end of the holiday.

How the heck did it come up with that??? LOL

Howdy, radu! Hope you had fun tonight! So you’re the Grinch, huh! I thought that was me! Too many years waiting on greedy grumpy customers will do that to ya! LOL!

Your Christmas is Most Like: A Charlie Brown Christmas
This year, you will really get into the spirit of Christmas more than before.
Which is much more important to you than nifty presents when you don't need anything but family love.

Howdy, LUV.

Yeah, dealing with greedy, grumpy customers can do that to ya. Had my “fun” with it years ago and said ‘no more!’. LOL

Had a good time. I’ve mentioned our friends before whose house burned earlier this year and they moved to FL. She’s up here for a few days though he stayed home - - where it’s warm. She was at the party tonight and that’s why I’m late. Everyone left around 9:30 except her, another friend, and me and the three of us had a nice long chatter session.

Howdy, Kathy.

I hope not getting to finish homework last night didn’t set you too far behind today.

Old friends having chatter sessions is the best! Glad you got to stay and enjoy visiting!

I’m going to give up a bit early tonight. I think I’m becoming a sissy since retiring. LOL! Looking at the computer so much makes my eyes burn. Maybe because I’m still not 100%. 95% maybe. Way better than last Tuesday night!

See ya tomorrow! :)

Yes, it was fun seeing her again. We’ve talked on the phone but it isn’t the same a face-to-face. She’ll be at the farm Friday afternoon to pick up a couple of items we’ve been holding on to since they moved. Not enough room in the truck that day.

Going to need to get those eyes tuned up for computer time now that we have babies on nests to watch. The season is just getting started! LOL!

Glad you’re almost back up to snuff again. That “crud” knocked you for a loop.

Good night and sleep well. See ya tomorrow.

A very pleasant good Wednesday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks LUV W. for this morning's quiz.

The result I got from taking it....:

Off to Aruba for a all paid trip

Now that's the kind of gift I can get behind! Lucky you. Have a wonderful and safe trip.
Merry Christmas
