...and it doesn’t matter what they do (they meaning): Mike Lee, Orin Hatch, Jason, and Mia Love...these idiots around here still keep voting for them!!!...
What have you accomplished in the past 8 years, Jase? Words cannot describe the low regard in which I hold you sandbagging, two-faced frauds; You, Issa and Gowdy for openers. How do you look at yourself in the mirror without puking?!
HarleyLady I can NOT understand WHY Utah is NOT a VERY HARD CONSERVATIVE state!!!! What the heck is with them ALWAYS voting in RINOS!!!!!!
Even if the Repubs really were interested in getting to the truth (which I question), they would be stymied by the Dem members on the committee, like the Benghazi committee where they put the Black liar and ethics starved Cummings on the committee to disrupt and block. Notice how they always put Blacks out front so they can cry racism if anyone attacks their actions. Black politicians proving one again they are nothing more than useful idiots on the Dem plantation.

I know, very disheartening! This little punk looks like a 5th grader trying to act tough, then wimps out! Pfft!
Well said. I do hope research and effort continues with all of Obama's crimes including the BC, fake SS numbers, fake Selective Service records - all of it, and especially the Trump surveillance.
We had an election in the City of Salt Lake, a Lesbian woman ran, against a Mormon man, everyone thought he would win, he lost...
The Mormons came out with ‘their rules’ of LGBT form that you can go to their church, but you can't be anymore than that until your 18 years old, (baptism and all of that) and that upset the ‘gay community’ to no end, then we have a lot of ‘illegal aliens’ here, and this new Mayor said that because they are in the ‘Salt Lake City Area’ they are ‘safe’ she is building and remodeling buildings to house the ‘homeless’ and people (which in a way is good because a lot of the homeless are Vets) so she is an ‘Illegal Alien City Mayor’ in a larger sense...
When I left this State years ago it was a hard Red State but the 4 years I have been back, I see a lot of cracks forming...
Just being realistic.
Who has gone to jail for arming the cartels in Mexico?
A Border Patrol and ICE agent died.
Who has gone to jail for arming the jihadists in Syria?
Four Americans died in Benghazi.
Who has even lost their jobs?
Benghazi, IRS, $6 trillion missing from the State Dept., and on and on.
ELECTION: A Lesbian Mayor for Salt Lake City, Jackie Biskupski (above), a former state legislator, was leading incumbent Mayor Ralph Becker 52 percent to 48 percent by an unofficial count Tuesday, reports The Salt Lake Tribune. Both are Democrats; the mayors race is nonpartisan. No further results will be released until after a November 17 canvass.
Becker did not concede, but Biskupski voiced confidence that her lead would hold. I feel great, she told supporters gathered at a Salt Lake City restaurant, according to the Tribune. We maintained that lead we had, and were going to finish strong, I know it.
Biskupski was the first openly LGBT person in the state legislature and now stands to make history in Salt Lake City as its first LGBT mayor and only the second woman to hold the post. She credited her victory to a diverse group of people from all over the city.
One of that group who praised her was state Sen. Jim Dabakis, a gay man. Generations of LGBT people couldve only dreamed of this, he told the Tribune. Jackie is now an iconic gay leader. This is a great moment for Salt Lake City were not the stereotype people across the country think we are.
While Salt Lake City is the capital of a deeply red state and home to the headquarters of the Mormon Church, it has elected some progressive Democrats as mayor, including Becker, who has served two terms, and Rocky Anderson, mayor from 2000 to 2008.
Of Biskupskis electoral strategy, the Tribune notes that her grass-roots campaign focused on change at City Hall and kept its momentum by painting her as the peoples candidate who would listen to constituents.
Also in Salt Lake City, Derek Kitchen, the lead plaintiff in Utahs marriage equality lawsuit, appeared to have won a seat on the City Council. He was leading Nate Salazar 52 percent to 48 percent Tuesday night, local TV station KSL reports. While these results will also not be official until after the November 17 canvass, Salazar has conceded.
Sophia Hawes-Tingey (above), hoping to become Utahs first openly transgender elected official, appeared to be losing her race for City Council in Midvale, a suburb of Salt Lake City, but she said Tuesday night that she would wait for more votes to be counted before conceding, the AP reports. In Midvales Second District, she was trailing incumbent Paul Glover by 42 percent to 58 percent late Tuesday, but fewer than half the ballots had been counted. Hawes-Tingey said she would wait for more information or for final results after the November 17 canvass.

HarleyLady these CRACKS are forming in MANY of our HARD RED STATES!!! We gave got to get a grip on immigration or EVERYWHERE will be CA!!!! This IS EXACTLY why these BASTARDS in DC don’t give a damn about our own citizens being safe or driving our wages down as long as their lives are comfy and cozy!!!! The sad thing IS we can’t seem to get rid of these BASTARDS!!! People seem to vote by name recognition and NOT being informed!!! During the mid terms we have ALWAYS seemed to put GREAT conservative candidates in office only to have them BOUGHT OFF by lobbyists and donors!!!! Once they are in it seems to take an act of God to rid ourselves of them!!!
I don’t trust congress to investigate anything anymore. They’ll bluster, muddy things up and drag it along, then do nothing about it in the end. Lots of sound and fury signifying nothing.
In case you haven’t noticed, we elected a new President and he’s been in office what... 6 weeks?
Stop complaining. Reset your grouch meter to Jan 20th and see how many of those complaints are left, then get back to me. I get the doom and gloom. Just not today on friggin Alamo Day. Renew your spirit and get back to me on April 21st. Our San Jacinto Day will come!
I read somewhere...maybe 0 hedge, that this a$$bite is part of the 4 people that were behind the tap.
Or put another way, we are useless to our President while lying prostrate and moaning. Stand up and fight!
He needs us.
