>Gee I did not see that he called out NeverTrumper Paul Ryan and other main stream Republicans... etc... It looks like we are in for 4 more years of more of the same uniparty governing. RinoCare, Big Spending on Infrastructure, Tax Cuts for the Wealthy, Tweaks to NAFTA, IvankaCare (universal free day care). And if we ask any questions, our President Trump will become a Democrat. I guess we should be happy with the Supreme Court Justice (time will tell on that if he is another squish in a conservative costume) and the unfunded wall. I guess I have bought the bridge in Brooklyn before but I did not think he would be attacking conservative republicans within 60 days of taking office. That is demoralizing.
Trump made a deal with conservatives for our support and he’s been delivering. Your bitching about not getting everything you wanted and getting things Trump doesn’t currently have the power to deliver is childish.
Read my tagline. You and ever other #nevertrump needs to be purged for the good of the conservative movement.
They certainly talk a good line, that’s for sure.
+1000.
I don’t know how strong is the #NeverTrump sentiment in the Freedom Caucus or among House & Senate members in general.
But I do feel quite certainly that it exists. How much? How many? I guess time will tell.
With respect, I answered nothing, I posed questions. Your reply was not an answer. Anybody can author anything, but for it to become law, it takes the Senate and Congress, which modify and change the bill, and eventually approve it or not, and send it to the President to accept or veto. As it was, there was not a clear majority to approve it, so it was removed from the calendar. They are working on it today.
You still have not answered my question. In your own words please.
> WHY you blame Ryan? He does not sign the bill, he can author it, but at the end of the day, Trump signs it
As you point out, the President does not author bills. Congress does.
The House Whip answers to the Speaker, not to the President.
The Speaker schedules votes, the President does not.
Ryan failed leadership-wise.
The bill does not repeal ACA, contrary to Ryan’s repeated assertions. His plan relies on future actions, and “phase 3” would likely be by a future Congresses. Why wasn’t a repeal bill ready on day 1? Ryan said “maybe sometime in March”. March came and what was produced? A repeal bill? No. He produced a bill that amends ACA and a promise that two bills sometime in the future will repeal ACA.
Ryan failed legislatively.
Ryan is a failure. He can not lead. The roll out was inept. The bill does not repeal - which is what was promised. That’s why I blame him and not Trump.
To prevent any nit picking...
The Republican whip answers to the Republican leader, who in this case is also the Speaker.
“Go here”
Went there. I’m beginning to think that there is an emasculation drug in the D.C. water supply. Regarding Obamacare, 2.0 or otherwise, pretty much everyone up there on “our side” is underperforming. A lot of current reps need to be “primaried”.
Shouldn't you be over at DU newbie?
Of course we understand. RyanCare would do exactly that so why are you fighting so hard for that?
>Should you be out trying to get your girl Hillary running in 2020? Begon #nevertrumper.
>>Shouldn’t you be over at DU newbie?
I’m not a nevertrumper so I wouldn’t fit in at the DU. You on the other hand... I think you’d fit in quite well with the Trump haters/Hillary lovers over there.
Apparently you don't think at all Red.
> Apparently you don’t think at all Red.
You sure didn’t when you decided Hillary was preferably to Trump.
There is no way you can think and conclude I preferred Hillary. I have saying she belonged in Jail since her and Bill robbed the people of Arkansas. This forum has been calling for her arrest since the very beginning and if you can find a single post where I ever said anything even resembling good about either Clinton I will eat a hat on YouTube.
Thank you for explaining yourself. I understand your point much better now. I don’t agree, but I respect your point of view.
Well said sir! Ryan is burning the candle at both ends with a good public face that only lies about supporting Trump. In fact, he is an enemy to the Republican Party and a useful tool for the NWO UNIPARTY. That being said, any Wisconsin Democrat would be worse.
So it is Trump’s fault?
Explain yourself.
Certainly. No, its not Trumps fault, as in ALL far reaching decisions it is a collaborative effort. Like all incoming new Presidents and administrations, they inherit problems, and people, and it takes time to ferret out the problems, both in situations, and personnel. This administration, in that respect is no different. Almost daily new facts emerge, new problem personnel expose themselves, and new solutions present themselves.
The answer IMO, is that it is a combination of differences in ideology by the left and the right. Power plays from both sides and gamesmanship by house leaders to benefit their parties. With Trump in the middle not caring about anything but the issues. Consensus it the watchword of the day, and getting there is a challenge. This again IMO, is the art of the deal, and one with which Trump has a lot of experience. Sometimes you get to YES by letting the opposition say NO, until they have no other option but to say YES. I think this is what is happening.
So it is NOT Trumps fault, or Ryan, it is at this point EVERYBODY, until the game plays out, and they have no other choice to play the game, or lose. And IMO its coming fast.
