I work at a military base. Just heard today that the demand for the border wall has been dropped and that the government will not shut down.
Yeah, the unrepentant open borders lovers are coming out of the woodwork telling us to have a war with North Korea instead of building the wall. Of course they will claim they want to stop illegal immigration “later” meaning never.
If you want to build the wall you’re against the troops according to neocons now.
Didn’t Donald bomb Syria because they killed 70 children? I allowed Myself to believe you was serious about being pro-life. Obviously I would have taken anything over Hillary Clinton. But if he proves to be a fraud as far as being pro-life then both him and mr. Christian Mike Pence can pack their bags right now.
1. Defunded Planned Parenthood International.
2. Defunded UN population fund after which, UK and Australia followed suit.
3. Overturned Obama rules, so States may defund Planned Parenthood.
4. Nominated and placed Justice Gorsuch on Supreme Court who is widely regarded by pro-life organizations as a pro-life judge.
For 100 days, that’s a lot of pro-life action, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
I’m all for the wall; but border security effectively is of utmost important and it looks like border crossing are way way down. Immigration and Customs enforcement is up even fighting tooth and nail those who want lax immigration enforcement. Again, from my perspective, progress is being made against illegal immigration, it’s not enough but I didn’t vote for a wizard who can just wave his wand and make everything the way we want it.

Correct, Ryan claims to be an ideal pro-lifer, then, he should be a fighter on that front to, to defund planned parenthood. I know the situation is perhaps a bit more complex than I know but still. Ryan will always say “I’d like to do that but we can’t”.
A government “shutdown”, the farce that it is, does not impact those operations.
Shut it down.
A government shutdown doesn’t affect things here at home but it would make us look weak and disordered to those we are in a pissing contest with. I’d be all for the shutdown but we can’t flex our muscles on one hand and appear unable to control our own party on the other hand.
