Pence has a recent track record of siding with the establishment and financial interests against social conservatives. Consider what he did as IN governor to get the legislature to revise the religious conscience bill.

Plus, in the veep debate he contradicted Trump on foreign policy, and sounded like a R “stepford wife” on fiscal issues. Only because the D veep candidate was such a despicable scumbag did Pence sound reasonable in comparison.

The system is rigged. 99% American people are just plain suckers no matter what his or her politics are. The swamp is mightier than the people. The swamp is laughing.

The Dems don’t hate the repubs. They’re all just playing their roles pretending to be opponents.

Who are the most gullible, the hapless Californians or the Badgers? Or is it just a tie?

Yes, legal 40 years in 2016. My reference to the Amorites was an example of how God works with nations and to visualize His timeline. When prophecy is fulfilled and the Messiah comes (returns) He kills all of His enemies. Dead. So why not come now? Because the evil is not pervasive?

I believe He waits because there are so many who cry out in empathetic agony for those butchered and burned while in the womb. I believe He waits because there will be survivors (some may not be born yet) of the coming evil of man and He loves them, too.

:) I was reading about this year’s American Solar Eclipse. He’s got the whole universe in His hands!

You are right; Pence did just average in his “debate”, but that Virginian was an abomination!

Like defense attorneys and prosecuting attorneys. “Going out for a drink?” “How about lunch?”
Ryan defends leaving Planned Parenthood funded in spending deal
by Robert King | May 2, 2017, 11:38 AM

House Speaker Paul Ryan defended not defunding Planned Parenthood in the spending bill Congress will vote on this week, saying that legislation repealing Obamacare is a better vehicle to strip federal money from the abortion and women’s health provider.

The spending deal released this week doesn’t defund nonprofit, angering anti-abortion groups. Ryan said during his weekly press conference that the reason was due to tactics: Spending bills need 60 votes to pass the Senate, and a defunding measure would be problematic.

Whether one wants to buy what Ryan says here is up to the individual. We might well remember, as stated in the article, spending bills require 60 votes. So, like I said, there’s stuff in the machinery that I don’t understand.

yeah, if they repeal obamacare and don’t include the funding in the replacement. Guess what? It’ll include some funding for abortifacient pills and/or single human cell contraceptives. That’s why there should only be child healthcare. Pre-born to last day of 19th year. Reason for that age is that in the Old Testament you weren’t allowed in the Israelite military until 20 years old. God said.

I am terrible at bartering. In fact, if there isn’t a price tag I leave it on the shelf. Becoming very reclusive, too.

Panned parenthood funded, sanctuary cities funded, no money for a wall.

Somehow a country with a repub senate, a repub house and a repub president, is still run by democrats

The Republican establishment DOES NOT want to defund Planned Parenthood...and it certainly doesn't want to restrict abortion. It never did.

Why would the GOP want to ensure the perpetual creation of new welfare recipients and eventual Democrat voters? Conservatives who vote Republican on this issue are being taken for the longest ride of their lives. It's been going on forever, yet no one seems to learn.

Too much work to pass appropriations bills for each department, as it should be done. Thanks again to little dick Gephardt.

“Don’t worry”, Republicans lied, “Once we have majorities in the House and the Senate and have the Presidency we will totally defund Planned Parenthood because we are principled.”

"Too much work......"

Try telling that to someone who really works for a living!

Maybe we all need to purchase a $450.00 pair of muddy, dirty jeans from Nordstrom's for our congresscritter, so they can whine on about just how "hard it is to do legislation."

Gee, I'm feeling like a nap just thinking about their "hard jobs!"

Zzzzzzzz!

Our institutions are corrupt. Sending good men and women to DC results in corrupted men and women, not reformed institutions.

Anger, sadness, tears for the innocent lives lost. If I as a human have these feelings, how much stronger are those of the Lord. They are his most precious. Every parent’s heart melts when they see the first smile of a little one, who are they in the government to help those that would make sure so many will never smile.

Pence may not be doing best but I don’t call into question his Christianity, leaders have difficult decisions to make. They are not in the position of Senators who can say things and have no effect on the economy and people’s jobs.

I agree I could not be a politician. I was just laughing at the thought of someone who doesn’t lie having to defend the budget. Would have to be like a lawyer ignoring half the facts. Interestingly, it’s like theologians ignoring the Old Testament knowing full well God has not changed and Jesus is the apple tree. He is exactly like the Father. But I digress.
