I guess my point is the Saud’s aren’t my first choice of people to work with either - but “if we’re gonna pull the car out of the ditch and these are the only folks around...” So we need to work with them where possible... and for goals in places where there’s common ground. And hope for the best...
If Toby had a lot of uniparty enemies you would be sure the story slant would be him accepting to do an all-male/female banned concert in Saudi Arabia.

Some Orthodox Christian women wear headscarves when in Church, or (especially for Serbian women) only when receiving Holy Communion or going to Confession.
No one would mistake the scarves worn by Serbian women when receiving Sacraments for hijabs. Some of the headscarves worn throughout Divine Liturgy by Russian women might look superficially like hijabs. In any case, Orthodox women do not wear these scarves outside of Church.
islamic hijabs are political statements. They say to muslim women, “you are inferior, and have few rights”. In non-muslim countries, they say to the kuffar, “we muslims are here, and we’re taking over!”
