Whatever info the libs used to blackmail Roberts, they’ve probably found something similar in Gorsuch’s past. I don’t have hopes for a good outcome. Hope I’m wrong.

So they expedited it so that they would not need to work during their recess.

I wonder how many conservative judges will soon hear words:
“thats a nice family there. Adorable grandchildren. Be a mighty shame if something happened to them. Mighty shame”

I am pleased they are looking at it, however, I don't think Ginsberg should be involved, remember what she said about Our President...

We hope the SC will restore rationality and law, but the fact that the appeals court went 11-3 for insanity, illegality, and left-liberalism is a bad sign. Any competent judge should rule for President Trump, but obviously there are a lot of incompetent, biased, mendacious judges from both parties.
I am hopeful for the SC but I don’t think anything is a slam dunk anymore in our screwed up system.

It was also a little unsettling to see him being so jovial with Breyer and Sotomayor during the recent SCOTUS photo shoot. Of course they can get along personally. This is the real world, not an internet forum.
These Justices have a lot more in common than may separate them ideologically.
Don't forget, Scalia and RBG were besties.

30+ years ago the young Gorsuch knew what scum the Democrats are. They trashed his mother and the Reagan admin. as he watched. However, in the intervening years he has been worn smooth and adapted into the Legal-Liberal-Industrial-Complex. Let’s hope he retains some backbone, conservative standards, and independent judgment.

that was 10-3, oops, not 11-3
either way, a dismal statement on the quality of the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals

Points well taken. I do realize that Scalia and RBG were quite chummy and she even went hunting with him, IIRC.
The fact that they do get along well personally really should be expected. SCOTUS is highly exclusive and extremely cloistered. The justices likely bond intuitively and share their obvious love of the law. It’s simply talking shop, if you will.

With Roberts, its parties, cheese and wine that count, plus a little blackmail on his kid’s legality. An uphold lower courts vote.

Thanks for citing his mother’s experience.
Hoping that Gorsuch’s spine will prove to have adequate steel going forward so as to not bend to the intensifying influence of the permeating activist benches we are up against today.
