For a POTUS lacking in progress, he’s actually got a lot done in the short time he’s been in office.

I can't see how anyone can blame anyone except the US Senate and House of Representatives. President Trump will sign any reasonable law that comes to his desk. What can one possibly conclude except that they'd rather risk losing their DC seat than to cut off government payouts to the entities which have bought and paid for them?
It would be easy to say it's on McConnell and Ryan. But it isn't. If a majority of the 'pubs in DC were really with their voting fodder, both of them would've been driven out of their leadership positions when they didn't have an Obamacare replacement ready to be enacted.

A majority in two houses of Congress, and the White House, elections on promises like the Trump agenda, and all we have to show for it are the faces of Paul F. Ryan and Mitch the Turtle McConnell.

The August recess had better be canceled.
If only Congress cared half as much about MAGA as our great President Trump does. Also, there is no comparison as far as work ethic is concerned.

I'd be impressed if they'd just finally cut off tax payer funding to the left's propaganda programming such as NPR, NEA, public TV, etc. Why should conservative taxpayers be forced to fund the undermining of our own principles, and fund the left's agenda and bias in public broadcasting and the "arts"? (Before they defund the NEA, I'd like to sneak in under the wire with a request for a grant to do a "Piss Mohammed" "art" work.)

Does anyone else wonder how they enter Congress on the salaries they get, and leave as millionaires (unless they were before they entered)? I don’t have anything against the wealthy, and don’t believe in class warfare, but how does one become rich on a public servant’s salary, if they’re honest?

I like that. Forget about Repeal and Replace. The new slogan is Primary and Replace.

Shhs, don’t tell the left. They haven’t noticed because they’re so distracted.

Most Republicana House members won their districts in 2016 by a wider margin than Trump’s margin of victory in those districts, so it would be a mistake to assume that GOP voters have a monolithic view on any of these contentious issues.

Canceling the August recess would be a pointless exercise. The lack of progress on moving legislation isn't a problem of Congress not working hard enough. They simply don't have the votes on many of these things.

Thanks for catching this one. This one is a Hummm??? This AP sourced article by Peoples and Beaumont is very interesting because of the direction it takes. My guess is and it would be interesting to find out from which AP office this came from, DC, or NY. What to watch for is where (region wise) and which MSM subscriber to this news service pick this up and uses it. Because it does signal a change on reporting direction.

Excellent idea. Write your congressman and close your letter or email with “Primary and Replace!”

The Republican controlled congress has squandered over 6 months fighting Trump. They are nearly as bad as the Democrats. Countless times the Republicans tried to rid the nation of 0bamascam and now they have a perfect time do so and what are they doing? Fighting Trump. They have perfect timing to rid the nation of the ills of 0bama’s mischief and no they spend their time acting like a lot of wimps
