There’s no State concurrence needed for a DHS approved parole. It sounds like State was right in denying the visa as it looks like the intent of her travel was not actually related to the federal court case and she subsequently overstayed the parole.

Yes, this looks like a matter of politics/media rather than crime. To me the Lynch DOJ looks worse than Don Jr.
