I wouldn’t be surprised if Boehner is the only Republican that Boehner ever voted for. He is a Democratic plant.
In the Midwest in House primaries, three conservatives will ALL run, split the vote, and allow the “moderate” to win by default. This goes on elsewhere too, but it is especially noted in the Midwest. Eight states have runoffs to prevent this phenomenon.
In a way though, Boehner has NOT left. Ryan is Boehner, II.
