I know that there is a huge drive by Carl DeMaio in San Diego to recall the politician that was the swing vote to pass the gas tax, and also to put up petition to repeal the gas tax increase and increased registration fees. This repeal will likely succeed, even in California. Don't know about these other taxes though (as far as having to have a separate effort done).

Why don’t they ration carbon credits? Then when Arnie gets on his Leer Limo and cranks it to full carbon spew he will have to purchase the excess credits from someone like me who leaves a slight carbon footprint.

Jerry Brown said earlier this year that we are a bunch of freeloaders.

Jerry Brown inherited millions, gets a free house, lives in a taxpayer free house, gets free car paid by the taxpayers. Travels every where on the taxpayers dime.

Yet we are the freeloaders!

*Anyone* with enough money for the filing fee and the laborers who circulate the petitions. But the time allowed is shorter than a standard initiative.

I sell carbon credits.

The ponds on the farm have been seeded with Alpoforis magentina an algae that absorbs CO2 at a rate twenty times the actual bio mass. The co2 is photosynthesized and converted into coalacious nodules that fall to the bottom of the pond.

If you are in California and need some, give me a call
