Ben Rhodes went so far as to brag to the Atlantic on the record about how he manipulated leaks the press into shaping press coverage of the administration’s handling of the Iran deal, a deal nakedly awful for advancing the interests of America. At least, as most of the readers of this forum know them. If he isn’t a central figure behind all the ‘anonymous former official’ leaks to the media, I’ll eat my hat.

I’m trying to get confirmation from a state AG on a “typical” case. My guess is about 4 months on a nothing low-level criminal case. If you multiply that by 7-8 of these people, then factor in that Sessions has MAYBE 10 loyal people (including secretaries) he can count on and to a large degree CANNOT go to the FBI with any of this . . . .
This is not the letter referred to in the OP. However, this letter asserts that unmasking is LEGAL. That is, there is no law making it illegal. Nunes is seeking guidance from Coats to aid in drafting statutory "protection" so what the government snoops from you, is safe in the governments hands.
Doesn't that make you feel better? More secure that your privacy, once snooped, is still secure?

This is why this will get swept under the rug. It takes down 75% of our leaders in all branches of government and not in just one party. This is a massive cluster. These guys need to be out of power and in jail but you need an island to put them all on.
There will have to be a war to take these guys out and that is not going to happen. That is why there has been a talk of a coup against Trump. Where is there not corruption in our government???? Only the voters want it fixed and justice to be served and they were taking away Americans say with our votes with massive invasion and fraud so you have no say.
I do not see this ending the way justice should.
Sessions will recuse himself before then.
Sessions doesn't want to offend his good friends and colleagues on the other side of the aisle.
Congress will find a lawyer/special prosecutor from the SPLC or ACLU to head up the investigation.
