Well, liberals have changed the meaning of free, racist, gender, and illegal, so I guess conservatives can tinker with what it means to be an immigrant.

What is this Statue of Liberty law crap, there is no such thing! What an idiot.

Stephen Miller owned Acosta without even bringing up one salient fact. That is immigrants coming into the US had to undergo very rigorous medical exams to be sure they weren't bringing disease into the country.
It's so racist of the likes of Acosta to assume that only hispanics can or will do these jobs for which they accept slave wages. He's selling his own race to exploitation.

Well if the inscription on a statue in New York from the 1880s says those words, that basically means its federal law...

All true, and in addition, statistics from the 19th-early 20th century, such as they are, reveal that half of the"huddled masses" who arrived here couldn't make it and went back home.
Because they got no welfare or other government support, they had to sink or swim, and the effect was a merit selection system-- the skilled and otherwise qualified stayed, the unskilled and unqualified didn't.

The Statue of Liberty was dedicated in 1886. That damned poem wasn’t added until 1903.

Acosta is reading a poem on the statue of liberty as if its our immigration law?
What an arrogant a*hole. He couldn’t just ask a question and listen?

Nobody in the White House press room should ever call on Jim Acosta. A picture should be shown to all guest speaker of Acosta with a big red Circle with a slash. Just ignore him

That is exactly the real question. Acosta yells out, interrupts, talks over the speaker. He is a argumentative, rude, boor and disruptive. Why is he allowed at the White House Press Conferences?

Steven Miller is brilliant. He also writes some of President Trump’s speeches. Hope he runs for office some day.
To: KC_Lion
Poetry written by some 100 year old feminist doesn't change that. The poem "The New Colossus" by socialist/activist Emma Lazarus has done a great deal of damage to American immigration policy by confusing sentiment for law. It in no way does or should reflect official immigration policy.

Putin would just have one of these bastards shot, make an example out of them.
Kicking CNN out is the LEAST the WH could do.
Trump displaying a lot more restraint than I would have imagined.
As long as they feel they are not in danger, the leftists propagandists will continue their character assassination campaign.
Trump needs to either do what needs to be done or face the fact that he will get little accomplished.

Jim Acosta is an activist provocateur, not a journalist. He doesn't ask questions so much as argues, interrupts, gives speeches and over talks presenters. He was warned during Spicer’s term to tone it out or get booted. I don't understand why his press credentials are not just pulled and he can report from outside the fence.
