Never heard of that.

I knew it was old as soon as they started cruising through the neighborhoods. That really took me back and made me miss all those “old” cars, not to mention “old times.” Those days seem golden now.

Yeah, I guess as they were going along they realized they could combine “Platoon” and “Apocalypse Now” and went for the family tie-in.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it passed over most of the audience’s heads. I was in the theater and I got it right off because I had actually seen “Wall Street” - Don’t think I’ve seen all of “Platoon”; not sure. I do remember Lt. Frank Drebbin and his date Priscilla coming out of “Platoon” laughing in “Naked Gun”.
