Judging from what I saw, he intended to drive through the crowd but was unaware that there were already 2 stopped cars in the intersection blocking his escape route. By the time he saw the stopped cars he had already run into them.
Apparently from one video I saw, a red minivan had already plowed through the crowd and knocked down a bunch of protesters right before the dodge came in and hit the car behind the minivan.
I haven’t head anything about the other 2 drivers that had tried to drive through the crowd. The MSM isn’t reporting on them.
Apparently he was online playing video games a lot with other slouches and losers and if that’s all you’re exposed to sooner or later that’s what you become.
Seems like a perfect place to encounter bigots - bunches of unsuccessful guys blaming everything but themselves for their lack of manhood and status.
Yeah, well, I am a woman who raised 4 sons, and none of them ever slapped me or threatened me with a knife. Do you think a 12-year-old who would such at thing is just being a kid?
There is no direct connection in spite of what the Daily Mail said in their headline...

“led”, indicates a direct connection. “I flipped the switch and the light came on.” “I ate bad seafood and got sick.” “A caused B”....
The rally that happened far from the intersection where the deaths and injuries occurred had NO direct connection with what happened. There was no direct string of causality connecting the 2 events.
You may infer an indirect connection but not a direct one.
FWIW, kids with organic mental issues, like autism, can and do, do incredibly destructive things. I have a (just turned) teenager on my school bus who has punched and kicked drivers, broken their glasses etc. Dad has told me that they are on their 3rd big screen TV in less than a year, as the boy tends to punch things when he is upset. Unfortunately, he is also 6’4” and 240lbs.
That might be the issue with this guy.
I thought his view of the stopped cars was likely obstructed by the crowd milling in the street.
By the time he saw them he had no time to stop.
Unless he actually set out to run people over,
then the whole thing was initiated by the fool in shorts that attacked his vehicle with a pole
while he was still driving at a moderate speed causing him to fear for his life,
triggering a flee response and accelerating to get away.
If that is what happened I hope the pole guy is identified and held accountable for his role.
I’d like to know what intersection this was, it’s relation to where the rally was held and the time it occurred.
Had the rally ended and had the participants dispersed?
Was the driver heading home in an unfamiliar city and stumbled into trouble?
PRESUMED innocent by the courts. We can draw any conclusion we want.

Ah, so he us just a really bad driver with a short temper, who intentionally murders women, beats up disabled women and threatens to stab them with a butcher knife?
