Now you get the idea why Trump thought he was a leaker, full of himself, and trying to take all Trump's credit. Bad form Bannon.

One term. If that.

It was all the Wall.

But that presidency is over.

What a drama queen. Trump has only been in office seven months. Nothing is over until we say it's over. Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Who would have thought that Priebus and Spicer would handle their ouster with more class?

What?
Good grief, this is perfect for Trump.
And it shows why the RINOs will wish they could have kept Bannon in the White House where they had some control over him.

What Bannon says about the republicans is plain for all to see. There is no mystery here.

What exactly is false about what he just said?
Everything he said is right. No border wall funding etc.

I hope Trump leaves the republican party. Probably have to wait until after 2020.

“The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,” Bannon said Friday, shortly after confirming his departure. “We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It’ll be something else. And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over.”

Wow. This is seriously narcissistic AND back-stabbing at the same time. Obvious now why the guy needed to go.

Under the direction of Bannon, Brietbart will do a hostile takeover of the weekly standard and fire all the insane clown pussies there!

I think Bannon was expecting a bit too much out of 52 Senators, considering the RINOs there. As far as the House...I agree with Bannon - they could have, should have, done much, much, more - but they instead keep Paul Ryan running the place.

We’ll see how things progress. If Trump can put a few more Gorsuch’s on the Supreme Court, he’s basically bought our kids the next 20 years of living in a still-great country. As others have noted, if Trump continues to kick butt regarding the courts, all else is just icing on the cake.

Trump is over?

I don’t think so. He has just begun to fight.

Thank you for speaking truth, Bannon. Thank you for giving your time and energy in a noble effort. A sad, sad day for patriots.

If the Party of Stupid had any leadership abilities, they could control DC and keep the Dems in minority status for the next 40 years. But, they are known as the Party of Stupid because they are stupid. They prefer the old establishment status quo and would be quite satisfied with the Dems regaining control of Congress.

If the Dem Party wasn't in such disarray, they could easily come back to majority status in the Congress in 2018 and 2020.

If Bannon really said this presidency is over, because he’s no longer in the White House, his ego is bigger than Scaramucci. However, this is the Weekly Standard, so I take this with a grain of salt.

I’m afraid Bannon is right. There will be some good days during Trump’s tenure, but they may largely be executive orders and other actions fairly easily reversible in the future. I hope Trump can continue to nominate, and get confirmed, conservative judges. However, as far as conservative legislation that could be more lasting, it doesn’t look so good.

Kudos to Bannon for trying to steer the monstrosity we call a federal government to the right while having so many people taking shots at him.

Bannon is correct about the GOP.

They’ve been passing bills to repeal Obamacare and sending them to Obama for years. All of a sudden they can’t figure it out.

They didn’t get a tax cut done. Even if they get it done later we won’t benefit from it until 2019.

I think he’s right on. The GOP is blocking Trump’s agenda.

We continue to do poll after poll finding dreadful approval numbers for GOP Senators, and a huge part of it is Trump voters disliking them "

Now Bannon is loosed amongst them like a wolf upon a flock.

He’s right about one thing... the Republican establishment.. I’m completely ashamed of every one of them.. and am angry at every one of them... They cannot stand up for the President we elected and I’ll never forget where their loyalty lies.. it’s with the money they have stolen and put in their pockets.. and next, it’s the power they wield.. and next it’s the democrats who are their “dear friends”... They have sewn their favors and it’s not to the people! I shall never vote for an establishment republican again! EVER!

Steve made the one mistake that you simply cannot make and keep your job. Don’t go up against your boss’s family. Don’t allow anyone to boost your ego by insinuating that you are your boss’s brain. It never ends well. And you know what? Maybe he is great at thinking and talking but not good at running an office or maybe he was the leaker because he thinks he is the power behind the Iron Throne. I’ve read 6 of DJT’s books and he doesn’t tolerate any employee getting too full of themselves and unless you knew him back when he was living in his efficiency apartment you don’t get any input beyond the sphere he hired you for.
