Howdy, LUV. I feel for ya having to get up so early this morning. It IS pretty hard for a night owl to take, isn’t it? LOL
It was a good day here. Hubby was out of town with his buddy who has those rare cars, helping him haul them to a car show to show off. Gave me a chance to do a few things around the house before going to a Republican group meeting this evening. The guest speaker was one of the candidates running for governor next year.
Now just kind of catching my breath and catching up on news since I got to see VERY little today.
No rain for us. Just HOT and that’s how it’ll be the next few days.

I mowed today and saw the dogs and the maniac 'lil puppy, he's a real handful.

A good enough day here. Puttered around the house then went to hear one of the candidates for governor speak.
LOL! Yeah, it’s nice having a chance to get things done without interruptions. Well, there ARE the kittehs but they can be booted out of the way. :-)
This group is a different one from the one that meets early, though there is some overlap.
As for the candidate, this is the first time he’s ever run for ANY political office. Nice guy but he isn’t very well-informed on the issues. We’ll see if he’s learning anything during these events and has better answers at the big debate the group will host next Feb. for all the Republican candidates running for state and congressional offices in our district next year. I’ll reserve judgment until then.
He’d best have a tough shell or he’ll never survive in this atmosphere!
How ARE all the kittehs doing? The little ones finding their place in the pecking order?
He did well answering questions about issues he’s up on. Just has a lot to learn.
The kittehs are doing well. Surprisingly quiet this close to the new moon. They normally get wound up by now.
The girlies get along well with most of the others but a few tell them to back off with a hiss and a growl.
Well, I’ll bet they DO back off when told to! LOL!
I don’t think I’m going to last much longer...zzzzz....I have to get up early again tomorrow morning. I feel a crab-fest coming on! LOL!
They do back off but Lorien has a tendency to get a little antagonistic. One of them will end up giving her a good swat and that should cool her jets. LOL
No, no, no! No crab-fest tomorrow! Get a good night’s sleep so you’ll feel refreshed and in a good mood.
I won’t be here tomorrow evening. Gotta stay off the computer tomorrow night or I won’t go to bed early, and 6 a.m. will arrive WAY too early Monday as it is.
