I did not know that Illinois had so much extra money! I hope that they have already determined alternate sources for Federal funds.

The only thing “broken” about our immigration system was the enforcement part of it.
That was “broken” on purpose by every President since Reagan.
Trump is fixing that.
ANY illegal alien in contact with ANY law enforcement for ANY reason should be detained and removed.
That’s what every real country does.
Revert Illinois back to a US territory. Remove their members of congress. Revoke their voting rights. Put the US Army in charge of their law enforcement. Remove all of their state elected politicians. Put federal municipal managers in charge.
Either break up the state, or re-apply for statehood 20 years from now.

Cities and states picking and choosing which federal laws to obey and enforce. I don’t think this is going to work out well.

I still have not heard the reason why Section 8 of the immigration law cannot be used to arrest these officials. Been waiting for an answer for a long time.

People holding their nose in the general and voting for Rauner just to get rid of Pat Quinn is one thing, and understandable given the circumstances. Still, there was ZERO excuse for all the self proclaimed "Tea Party" people pimping Rauner in the primary, and laughing off warnings that his career history showed he was a Rahm Emanuel pal and would govern accordingly.
I hope they are rightfully getting hell now for foisting this RINO on us and furthering Illinois' destruction.

I am tired of RINOs being placeholders...taking GOP slots that then are not available to true conservatives. There are way too many of them...Ryan, McConnell, Flake, McCain, Corker, and so on ...
I can’t pull lever for a democrat, but really Rauner did nothing to advance the cause, and I will be calling his office tomorrow to confirm...I have called about the voter registration...Did not know he would make IL a Sanctuary state.
