Eric was never ‘hateful’, although it may have helped him had he been more aggressive at times. I don’t see how Eric dealt with all those times Geraldo Rivera screamed nonsensical threats one inch away from his face while on the air.
Geraldo knew that he would be taken apart by Eric if this wasn’t on TV and if he wasn’t playing his Hispanic Privilege card.

I’ve had a different or diminished view of Baird since two summers ago, when Megyn Kelly was let off the chain at candidate Donald Trump.
I read that both Brett Baird and Mike Wallace went along with Megyn’s effort to get Trump out of the race.
Since then, I have wondered how complicit was he in other situations? Maybe I was fooling myself that Baird had some integrity. It’s simply a way to make a paycheck at a closet full of tailored suits, nothing more.
