Apparently, the ambassador was in Benghazi to reclaim anti-aircraft missiles (read: Stingers) from anti-Khadafi forces given to them by the State Department. She was worried that if she'd ordered aircraft into the area, and they were shot down by American missiles, that she wouldn't be able to cover it up.

It is astonishing to even view her coming into the barnes and nobles book store to applause, as if she deserves, strutting like a rock and roll star.This self-adoration is required to indescriminantly kill people and then say something like this.
