I used to respect this guy. Now he just comes across as a petulant a-hole.

At least all the Rand Paul supporters can be happy. McCain is jumping on Paul’s Obamacare-forever train.

Oops, I meant Obamacare forever for *us*. McCain and Paul are exempt.

What does Arizona want? Were any promises made to them?

Why does McCain have to hate Arizona so much? He needs to stop his hatred toward Arizona.

"I hope that in the months ahead

Months, not years John. You really should retire and spend time with your family and stop ruining our country.

McCain is not leaving us fast enough, if he is leaving at all. The evil coursing through his veins must be a marvelous preservative.

I was expecting McCain to support this bill since it was sponsored by his girlfriend Lindsey Graham. Usually the two of them march lockstep.

It looks as though McCain's desire to spite Trump takes precedence over all else.

Our resident Obot weighs in. Just here to gloat over the fact that your hero’s destruction of American health care [i.e.: Obamacare] will continue apace?

This is not news.
Every one knows what this traitor will do each time.

He’s a miserable old fart and needs to just go away and die

For some reason I don’t hold this against McCain. I think he’s doing this to give political cover to about a half-dozen (or more) other GOP senators who don’t want to vote for this bill.

McCain is a publicity whore. This RINO hates Trump so much that he will do anything to see him and his presidency fail. The old traitor has brain cancer and should not be in any position to influence decisions that affect anyone including himself. He needs to be gone.

Rand Paul came out during the debates as against it because he dislike what was in the bill in an effort to get it changed. (Not that it would but he was standing on principle)

McCain just, now, said he’s against the bill because he doesn’t like the process of how the bill was made. If he felt that way he could’ve said that 2 weeks ago! He didn’t. He intentionally waited for it to come to a vote so he could sabotage it.

That’s not ideology, that’s not conviction, that’s an intentionally political move in support of Obamacare and for the DNC.

Unless Rand Paul changes his mind, and one of Murkowski/Collins/Manchin suddenly decides to vote for it, it’s over.

They knew from the beginning this wasn’t going to pass. This was all done because Trump had the country focused on Tax Reform and bi-partisanship and they needed a distraction. This never had a chance

So its Rand Paul, Susan Collins, John McCain plus 48 liberals/Democrats who will doom Graham-Cassidy?

So far. Now that they have some cover I expect Murkowski, Capito, Moran, and Flake to come out against it as well.

“I would consider supporting legislation similar to that offered by my friends Senators Graham and Cassidy were it the product of extensive hearings, debate and amendment.”

So it’s not the bill he is voting against, he’s protesting the ‘process’ that produced it.

He’s lost his mind....
