I get my SciFi fix from Star Trek Voyager reruns

I just was watching the old Voyager shows last week.
I think my favorite one was the pitcher plant episode.

"You're being DECEIVED!"

Creepy.

Xindi story, and the Forge episodes were pretty good.

Yes, and I like that Enterprise is (so far) the first of the explorations. This crew are the pioneers, and they have to press forward into so much unknown, it keeps you engaged.

That was a fun scene, hard to keep a straight face.

I refuse to what any more Star Trek related products. Matter of fact I deleted and destroyed all of my old Star Trek items when they came out against Trump last year.

And now that they have two openly "homosexual" characters (come on folks, let's call them what they are) I certainly will not be watching it.

One of my favorite Enterprise episodes was when they encounter The Borg leftovers from Star Trek: First Contact.
The score by Brian Tyler made it all the more better.
Especially the music when the, “Modified,” (Read: enhanced by Borg technology) Federation transport ship was cutting through the hull of an alien vessel when Enterprise arrives.

One word for that piece: DREAD.

I’ve heard and read it’s supposed to be both. I think it’s possible to be both. But I have yet to see a single episode of The Orville.

Side note: Trek after 1987 became so preachy, it was hard to watch. Any fun Next Gen had was typically with watching Data struggle with emotions, particularly humor. Dr. Crusher was habitually annoying and Diana Troy was often hopelessly irrelevant. They had to introduce Whoopi Goldberg’s “Guinan” character to get anything like an objective read on another character or situation that didn’t sound like academe-screech or psychobabble.

In the 60’s and 70’s, they seemed to be able to put drama and conflict between the characters in a simple, matter-of-fact way without the protagonists off-handedly saying you must be a bad person to boot if you can understand the position of the antagonist.

This thread is an example of conservative PC. How about watching the episode and then comment. And no i won’t pay to watch the rest of it.

I’ve loved Brian Tyler’s work since Children of Dune.
Too bad he was associated with Under the Gun. Katie Couric’s anti gun propaganda piece of used food.

New Klingon uniforms: They do make the Klingons look more reptilian not unlike the Xindi.reptilians.

Well my opinion if it so far... is it’s bad... reasonable production values, but not feeling it.... comes across to me so far like it’s just trying too hard..

Given CBS has no faith in it to put it on TV full time should tell you all you need to know about it.
