Well, the issue of being loyal to Trump would not be about oaths, but anyone who works for the executive branch works directly for the POTUS and it is a bad thing to actually be disloyal to their boss, except in cases where the boss himself goes against the Constitution and is an enemy to same.

Clearly in this instance, these anti-Trump employees would be flouting oaths to defend the Constitution as well. They were not so concerned with the Constitution under Obama, evidently, and so flouted them then as well.

I think his estimate needs to be raised a bit.

Federal retirement bennies aren’t what most people think they are. They’re not as good as the ones that are given on the state, county and city level, in say, California, NY or some other high tax state. With the Fed’s, they get paid on the front end, with high pay(for their job), crazy health benefits and things like take home cars, government credit cards, etc. They get to put into the Thrift Savings Plan, a 401k type thing, with matching contributions, that I don’t think you or I agreed to pay for. On top of all that, the need to pretty much commit a violent felony before you lose your job and basically not having to do anything when you show up for work.

So, they do have it pretty good, in fact, they have it damn good. They want private sector pay with public sector security and for some reason, they get it.

At the National Archives building in College Park, Md., there has been no picture of the current president (Mr. Trump) on the wall where every current president’s picture has been next to that of the current head archivist of the United States.

You won’t believe the one excuse that they’ve provided so far, a printing error on Trump’s name, and that was back in Jan. or February.

This is total disrespect for the office of the President. Nobody said a thing about previous presidents’ pictures being on the wall (backwards - Obama, Bush, Clinton). And that is the way is should be. Respect the office even if don’t like the person.

Retaliation is expected. The truth is not allowed in many government agencies.

Traitors get no mercy, no quarter. And we were provided the answer, many years ago.

Option E.

If there is a doubt, then there is no doubt. Do it.

The oath is loyalty to the Constitution.

True. Yet many of them hold "jobs" that the Constitution does not authorize. Some even hold "jobs" that the Constitution explicitly forbids.

Firing civil service employees is a problem.

I appreciated Z’s efforts. I don’t think we can even begin to “restore the Republic until ALL the agencies beyond the original four are disbanded entirely and the civil service law repealed.

A government employee union is necessarily a political organization in opposition to the citizenry.

Civil service was instituted because of the corruption inherent in the spoils system. The misunderstanding is the failure to understand that all government work is inherently corrupt. The spoils system at least changed the recipients of the corruption periodically and thus limited the levels and kept particular coteries from becoming entrenched. The only way to reduce corruption in government is to reduce government.

He can fire one-third of them and still get the job done at the current rates of performance. So why not do it.
