It matters not to them if they can do anything about it. If something does it is just gravy on the taters. Their main deal is just to make it an issue they can use to bludgeon who ever the H is in their way.

“filing briefs urging a federal judge to ignore President Trump’s pardon “

Impeach the judge who doesn’t throw this out.

When this went down, I was among a group of women who were parroting the liberal narrative that he should be in jail. When I asked why they thought it was important to send an 85 year old to jail, they zipped up tight. It only took that one question to have them mumble and grumble and quickly change the subject.

What would be truly fun is if the Congress AND the Judiciary both decided he is NOT pardoned.

That would be more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

Neither of them have jails, jailers or any type of LEO in Arizona.

What’s a Federal Marshall to do? lol

These Dems should be thrown off the House Judiciary Committee just for sheer ignorance.

Give them something to really howl about.

“The President...shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.” — U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 2, Clause 1

Well, there’s only one exception to Trump’s pardon power. Was Sheriff Joe impeached?

Narcissism:

- Reacting to criticism with anger, shame, or humiliation

- Taking advantage of others to reach own goals

- Exaggerating own importance, achievements, and talents

- Imagining unrealistic fantasies of success, beauty, power, intelligence, or romance

- Requiring constant attention and positive reinforcement from others

- Becoming jealous easily

- LACKING EMPATHY and disregarding the feelings of others (that is the big one - the “tell”)

- Being obsessed with self

- Pursuing mainly selfish goals

- Trouble keeping healthy relationships

- Becoming easily hurt and rejected

- Setting goals that are unrealistic

- Wanting “the best” of everything

Can you see the demoncrats are EVERY ONE OF THESE THINGS!

Obama ordered the release of Oscar Lopez Rivera? During the 1970s, Lopez Rivera headed a Chicago-based cell of the Armed Forces of National Liberation (FALN), which waged a futile but violent struggle to win Puerto Rican independence.

The FALN claimed responsibility for more than 120 bombings between 1974 and 1983 in a wave of senseless destruction that killed six and injured dozens. In 1981, a federal court in Chicago sentenced Lopez Rivera, then 37, to 55 years for seditious conspiracy, armed robbery, interstate transportation of firearms and conspiracy to transport explosives with intent to destroy government property. And that was a plea deal so he wouldn’t buy murder one.

And they’re pitching one about Arpaio? These people are insane.

No, this is part of the deliberate, permanent power plot of the left.

The elites seek to insulate themselves from democracy by denigrating the parts of the democracy they can’t control or obviating them altogether. For example, they use the radical judiciary to in effect neutralize the powers of any President not in their party. They also use a nameless faceless deep state bureaucracy, that is elected by no one and answerable to no one.

We have already seen the Courts neutralize the President’s power to control our borders and dictate who gets federal funds. Here we have the left going to the well again to have a Judge say, in effect, the Constitution is null regarding a clearly plenary power accorded to the Executive. Hell, they are even trying to get another Court to prohibit the President from building the wall. Gee, I wonder how that ruling will turn out?

Curious how most of these cases tend to be from he Ninth Circuit, making California the de facto rulers of this country. Calexit?!?!? Let us help them pack!!!

I remember when we complained about Obama’s and Clinton’s pardons and a few of GWB’s pardons....

I don’t recall ANYONE here on this very board arguing that the Pardon power was invalid or not Constitutional, because it is IN the constitution!

We bitched, yes, We complained about the mark rich pardons, and the Obama pardoning known terrorists and spies, but we would not dare try to overturn those pardons.

You’re right on the mark.

Both of them made some very questionable pardons but there’s nothing anyone could do to change them.

What amazes me is Dems on the House Judiciary Committee are behind this, it goes to show you can’t fix stupid.
