So Mr. Pring has called the police to hand over his firearms as a willing and sacrificial act in response to this week's massacre in Las Vegas. He has surrendered two firearms: a tricked out Ruger 10/22 rimfire rifle (hilariously misidentified by the reporter as a "machine gun"), and a Walther pistol (.380 or 9mm).

It seems to me that Mr. Pring remains primarily a "British Subject" as opposed to an "American Citizen" in his ways of thinking about the concepts of freedom and responsibility. His actions remind us that we should never underestimate the capacity of sheeple to find new ways to render themselves even more helpless while bleating there way through life.

People were doing this back in 1968 after the murder of Bobby Kennedy, when the MSM stirred up an anti-gun hysteria.
One fool family gave up their guns, then wrote letters to various newspapers and magazines bragging about it, and claiming they were living in terror of their still gun owning neighbors.

Kids were encouraged to give up their toy guns. Good adult, but safe for kids, TV shows dumbed down to kiddie shows. Movies on TV were butchered to remove all violence. Only the theater movies got a pass when they said they would “police themselves” with a joke of a ratings system. So they reshot scenes and added more violence and sex to get the then coveted “R” rating.
