Pre-planned setup.
They were in more danger in that car ride over here than the troops over there.
She is a liar.
.
.
You know it. Same old racial BS by the same group always lying about it.
Some people have no issue making a political statement using their dead love ones.
Also, isn’t this the congressperson who called for Trump to be assassinated. CNN/WaPo is fake news.
Has Trump ever disrespected soldiers families like this?
On the other hand have blacks ever been race hustlers?
What is more likely the truth.
“That is what I wondered too. Why is this disrespectful?”
It’s only disrespectful when evaluated from the liberal, military-hating mindset (or someone looking to exploit the death of an honorable service member for their own political gain)
“Oh, a few US soldiers were killed in the blood-for-oil war? Serves em right. They knew what they were signing up for.”
Those who support the military think “These patriots served honorably, fully aware of the risks they were taking.”
WHY would POTUS called the family of a fallen soldier to disrespect him?
Basically, Obama has the utmost disrespect for any fallen soldier because it didn't even cross his radar.
Granted, I don't know the full exchange of the president's call. But from what I read so far, I don't see any thing remotely approaching ‘disrespect’.
Somebody enlighten me please!
I’d like to hear a transcript (I guess....I don’t really want to), because I know how Trump speaks extemporaneously and I can see him saying this in one of his weird little asides in a way that may be less than graceful.
When President Trump speaks, he is often doing commentary on what he is saying at the same time he is saying it.
That could, I guess, be awkward in one of these circumstances.
But who the Hell knows?
I hope our President continues to call on these families without any hesitation whatsoever. I’m proud of him taking time out each day to show respect and honor for those who gave all to our country. It shows President Trump realizes the gravity of what it means when/if he calls on our armed services to fight.
I’d also argue that regardless of what is on the recording... it is accurate to say this brave solider knew what he was signing up for. The job wasn’t flipping burgers or delivering packages, it was to be a warrior with the expectation that he could be called in to fight. My prayers are with this fallen American and his family.
A picture and several first names to boot.
About a year before his death in Iraq, my son wrote this on a web site, when he was 19.
I serve part time in the Marines, in a combat role no less, and if the $#!7 hits the fan, I'll be one of the first on the line to die. I'm an E-2, so I don't get paid jack-squat either. ... Given a choice and an opportunity, I'd gladly do my part to "restructure" the commercial institutions that poison the society whose flag will one day be draped over my coffin. [/rant]
Reporters from ABC in DC and Yahoo News were looking to speak with Gold Star family members yesterday. I guessed that they were looking for recent incidents, so I didn't bother contacting them.
I disagree. See post 2.
Group A= Operator. ie 18 series MOS for Army.
Group B= not an operator. Like my MOS: 35D/35E attached or assigned to unit is NOT an "operator".
Prayers always sent for American Heroes. Hope he took some Mudslimes down with him. I'm betting there is some hard times coming on the badguys within that AO soon.
I hate being cynical, but it will be a miracle if those kids end up with a properly funded/balanced UGMA/UTMA or 529 plans with 250m in them. (250m for mom+400m SGLI)
We had a soldier here who died in 2007 in Taji. His wife got the 400m SGLI and was advised to set up UGMA accounts for college for 2 kids, and pay off credit cards and car note.
Nope. Blew it on vacations, a Harley for her new beau, clothes, TVs, etc. Blew it. Back at working at a diner. Sad. Kids got hosed.
“knew what he was signing up for.”
Well...DIDN’T HE??
Reminds me of the first Gulf War...when several National Guard volunteers wanted out because “they didn’t know they could be sent to war”. Incredible. Really? You signed up for the camping??
“There is nothing especially Ebonic about the name Frederica.”
Agreed.
Maybe with that name, and her cowgirl hat fetish, she identifies as Euro-spanic?
Exactly.
Frederica Bimmel? ;)
She was crying the whole time, and when she hung up the phone, she looked at me and said, He didnt even remember his name. Thats the hurting part.
Ohhh...I thought you heard it on SPEAKER PHONE, Frederica.
Another Sybrina Fulton.
Now, I didnt hear the entire conversation, but when I tried to find out what the entire conversation was, she said, I just cant remember everything that he said.
Ohhhhh....I thought she had it on SPEAKER PHONE. Frederica Wilson is a liar.
God bless you. As a Canadian, I want to thank your son for his service and you, sir, for your sacrifice. Most Canadians are too ill informed to realize that America protects us as well.
You should have contacted them.
Except not all of that is true. Plenty of guys in delta don't have their long tabs and they are operators. And guys in regiment are operators as well.
