A relative of mine had the same experience training a class of Saudi officers. Going AWOL, Binge-drinking, crazy driving, and shooting down sea-gulls on a public beach with pellet guns. They were recalled to Saudi Arabia eventually — apparently there was some pressure from Saudi attaches to gloss out the details of their misbehavior in the report that went back with them. One Saudi officer implied that they could face beheading if an accurate account of their behavior was given.
I thought Senator McCain was friends with a bunch of these guys, can’t he just make a phone call to find there whereabouts?
Gee, that would have been too bad.
Our big sack of nothing we got from Dubya’s Afghan adventure continues. But at least “Girls got to go to school!”
Why would anyone want to go back to the meat grinder? Good for us that we’re getting the cream. Not good for Afghanistan or the war effort.
If you were flown out of one of the worst chitholes on earth and landed in paradise would you want to go back?
