Sounds like they’ve released this statement in anticipation of Fusion’s bank records being released — which will show any payments to Fusion from the newspaper. They’re trying to get ahead of the story.
Editor-In-Chief Matthew Continetti is married to Bill Kristols daughter.
The Free Bacon Brand just took a hit.
Money laundered funding using a second party?
See Post #41.
That makes sense.
Waiting on CNN and NBC lawyers to make similar statements in advance of the release of Fusion bank records.
“Free Bacon brand just took a hit.”
That sucks, I love Free Bacon. Actually any kind of bacon.
It was RUBIO’s money man! Time to destroy Little Marco!
One guess from the article: “Conservative billionaire Paul Singer, a major funder of the Free Beacon, strongly opposed Trump at the time of the opposition research project.”
Thanks ameribbean expat.

Yup.
FreeBeacon editor in chief Matthew Continetti is married to Anne Elizabeth Kristol, the daughter of Never Trump writer William Kristol.
Trump has smoked out all the trotskyites that have infiltrated the Republican party.
Kristol has been bleating like a little b!tch on twitter. Glorious
Or to make the court case moot - the legal world version of “old news.” The bank’s attorneys will argue that since the info is already out, there’s no need to reveal other private business info.
If so, it’s a clear case of never Trumper GOP-e working with the Dems.
It’s such a small town, D.C.
Pigs. Self-righteous pigs.
Here’s an idea. Why don’t these damn papers hire some investigative reporters of their own? Imagine the cost of Fusion to do oppo on all these candidates.
Bingo!
Now we know where the idea came from.
What the lawyers say and what the media is saying what they said are two completely different things. The paper is just saying "hey, you're going to find out anyway, we too hired Fusion GPS for some research on candidates".
The MSM is twisting that into "Wash. Beacon commissioned the dossier... therefore it must be real!!!"
