You should probably take a lesson in spelling..... exactkly is not correct and since you can not learn if I correct the spelling for you......study, practice, look it up, get a dictionary, have your mommy buy you new crayons!
.
More distractions from your serious plight!
Read the word for the first time, and eventually you’ll see.
.
.
P.S.
Fat-fingering the “L” will always give “kl”
.
More like fat meat head!
Read deeper into the KJV Romans chapter 4 past verse 20...it uses the actual word “imputed” twice!
Are you taking issue with my belief in imputed righteousness!? Otherwise, I don't understand your comment......I gave chapter & verse from the Bible to this egotisticl-supplanter doofus about the clear case for believing imputed righteousness" is the ONLY way we have any hope!!!!
This egotisticl-supplanter seems to believe HE can EARN his way to Heaven by perfectly following the Torah....which means he has NEVER sinned, which is contrary to the NT & every lesson the Bible teaches us.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
>> “ egotisticl-supplanter “” <<
You are the egotisticl-supplanter!
(nice spelling!)
.
Romans 4:
[20] He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
[21] And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
[22] And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
What was “it?”
“It” was the keeping of the commandments in belief!
The keeping of the commandments was “imputed” to him, not empty immaginary righteousness.
Willing obedience is the righteousness of Yehova.
If you don't have obedience, you have no faith.
.
the direct subject of “it” goes back to verse19, 20, and 21...that he did not stagger “at the promise of God through unbelief but was strong in faith”. That was the “it” that was imputed unto him for righteousness. Romans 4:19 cites the promise of God to Abraham that he would have a son thru Sara’s barren womb and he believed it.( See Genesis 18)!
That is your “it”...that Abraham believed what the “angel of the Lord” (who was that very I AM that existed before Abraham) told him regarding his having an heir from his own loins. His belief in God especially in this instance was what was imputed to him as “Christly Righteousness”...indeed as Genesis 18 goes on to speak of(”shall I not tell my servant what I am about to do?”), it was this righteousness that allowed Abraham to act as intercessor for any of the righteous folks who might be left in the cities of Sodom(he was no doubt thinking of his nephew Lot) and got a promise from God that he would not destroy the city if 10 righteous people still lived in the city!~!!!
So what work did Abraham do, that Paul should cite Genesis 18 in his writ of Romans 4? He simply believed in the promises of God...and that what was imputed unto him as righteousness!
Isn’t this a Social Security thread?
.
Oh no....I was trying to support you...ED-SUR said there was no imputed righteousness but the KJV Roman 4 uses imputed twice while most other versions use “credited unto” or similar versions of the phrase. Ed_Sur is way off base and I felt I also needed to interject.
(You know what the word says about 2 or 3 concerned brothers trying to win over an erring brother...or for that matter..2 or 3 witnesses). I saw your examples but verse 20-24 weren’t amplified enough especially when I saw Ed-Sur’s outrageous comments! He obviously hasn’t read deeply enough himself into the word to be accusing others of the same thing. Se also my answer to him at post 128...he asks what the “it” was that was imputed unto Abraham as righteousness...which is funny because Verse 18-19 sets up what that “it” was. Ed-Sur completely misses “it” here...(yes I was trying to be half way funny and half way serious with my last phrase.....so forgive me already!)....;)
Sure is(sorry!)....and now we seem to be speaking of “Soulish Security!” ;)
I think it went bad when Editor declared that no one will be around past 2024 to receive SS or write the checks because of a Higher Order coming to rule the Earth by then!
“I think it went bad when Editor declared that no one will be around past 2024 to receive SS or write the checks because of a Higher Order coming to rule the Earth by then!”
Yeah, that’s probably when the tide turned.

Yeah, you’re probably wise to be cautious on AMD...their GPU business is pretty stable (although Apple is using Nvidia more now in Macs...used to use AMD/ATI exclusively...and Macs are only 10-20% of a shrinking desktop market). Their Ryzen CPU line is interesting (more cores & lower power consumption) but if history is any indicator they will STILL be playing “2nd fiddle” to Intel after it is all over.
No need....I was just confused because you addressed the comment only to me. I thought you were trying to convince me of "imputed righteousness."
That's the greatest thing of value any of us have!
(nice spelling!)"
YOU'RE a poopy head ( not so nice smelling!)

Will you finally be moving up to first grade this year?
That’s some really deep intellectual posting!

Exactly!
Thus demolishing your false premise that righteousness can be “imputed” to one without basis.
Obeying and believing are by definition “the righteousness of Yehova” as John made abundantly clear in his first epistle; that was the sole purpose of that epistle.
Abraham didn’t “simply believe,” that belief led him to obedience, which is righteousness!
End of subject.
