As the businessman was the one entering the plea, and the attorneys were signing on behalf of the government, I fail to see what is so huge about it. But maybe I’m missing something. Or maybe most people aren’t reading the article.
Well....first we need to read on as to who was receiving the plea agreement...

Mueller’s staff were merely the prosecutors offering the plea agreement.
It is possible there is corruption involved, but this proves nothing.

Watched a clip on YT this morning showing a debate between Pamela Gellar, Gorka and Geraldo (re recent NYC events) that was broadcast on Hannity. Geraldo, as expected, made a fool of himself.
To enhance his bona fides he declared himself to be a "war correspondent" referencing Iraq. He conveniently left out his expulsion from the war zone for revealing classified information about the plan of attack as the US moved forward.
The guy is a complete asshat.

Signed on behalf of the government as prosecutor, or signed as defendant pleading guilty to something?

I can’t understand why Hannity has him on as a guest. Geraldo has NO credibility, NO brains, and is frankly as insane as any other leftisit. Anymore, I hit the mute button when he opens his mouth and spews sewage.

They didn’t plea, they were the DOJ officials that sign off on the Russian’s plea.

It is rather hard to follow. An unnamed Russian who took a plea deal on unknown charges, on an unknown date. I think this is a non story. otherwise the details would be known.
They're not copping please, they approved a plea deal that was offered the Russian guy.
They knew all about the crooked Uranium One deal. They kept that information away from some in Congress who were trying to stop the deal and they kept that information away from some at CFIUS who were the ones who approved the deal.
All of this should be part of the investigation which means that Mueller, Rosenstein and Weissman should not be investigating the deal.
At the very least it documents Rosenstein's, Mueller's and Weisman's conflict of interest if they are the one's who are investigating the deal.
At the worst, it would help document a coverup by the above stooges.
