People step forward who want to run. Gillespie lost by a squeaker last time. Who could blame him for trying again. I voted for Corey Stewart in the Primary yet know a GOP General Assembly will hold Gillespie’s feet to the fire and so will we.
I’ll put you down as ‘undecided.’ ;^). Off to church. May your Sabbath be blessed.
The unasked question in this race is whether Trump voters will mobilize when he's not on the ballot. If the answer is "yes" then Gillespie will win.
If not, then he loses.
Exactly! If Gillespie can win sounding like Trump, the message it will send is DON'T BE AFRAID TO SOUND LIKE TRUMP!
If Gillespie loses, the message will be, "He sounded too much like Trump, whom voters are tired of. Other GOP candidates need to distance themselves from Trump's hateful rhetoric or face the same fate as Gillespie."
Is that the message you want to hear Wednesday morning?
Personally, I'd like to read Trump's WINNING! tweets and head over to DU to read their wailings and lamentations.

All I heard on the radio (WTOP) today is the race is over and Gillespie can’t win. Polls are fake news.
