Was there a moment of silence for the New York City victims? And did the Dems walk out if that?

Hey, Ted. How many thousands have been killed or assaulted or injured by illegal aliens? How about passing a law to stop that? Selective outrage at its finest.

This lieu idiot doesn’t admit that no “gun law” would have stopped this murderer leftist. What a pathetic backbencher loon. I bet someone has to tell this nitwit when to breathe.

“I urge us to pass reasonable gun safety legislation, including a universal background check law supported by 80 percent of Americans, a ban on assault rifles and a ban on bump stocks,” he said.

Let's pick this apart, shall we?

"Reasonable gun safety legislation" according to Democrats has us all turning in our arms and relgated to knives, bows and arrows, living in caves using politically correct clothing to try and stay warm while being banned from starting a fire composed of any form of carbon whatsoever.

Sure, 80% of Americans support "reasonable gun safety legislation" until the first Democrat to open their mouths describes what that actually means to Democrats, then all bets are off.

What is an "assault rifle" anyway? If you're a democrat it's anything that sends a single, high velocity lead projectile down range with a single trigger pull. Oh yeah, and the rifle "looks mean" (thanks Diane Feinstein) which again, means any rifle according to Democrats.

Our Democrat friends have this fascination with bump stocks. Tell me, aside from Las Vegas last month, when's the last time a bump stock was used to commit a mass murder? (Tapping foot, I'm waiting Democrats....)

Are we going to ban rubber bands too? They can be used just like a bump stock can to make a weapon seemingly auto-fire / rapid fire. Are Democrats going to ban the video's on YouTube that demonstrate how to make a rubberband into a weapon of mass destruction?

How about beer bellies? Put a rifle stock up against a beer belly and guess what? Same effect as a bump stock. Well, that takes some practice so maybe the Democrats will require anyone with a beer belly (or any fat male...) to register their bellies as potential assault weapons?

Democrats are all about just banning things because that feels good and makes them think they're accomplishing something when they're actually not.

Our problem isn't the weapon, it's cultural. A culture that Democrats themselves have had a large hand in creating, nurturing and furthering so they can achieve their liberal utopia where they control every aspect of our lives.

That's really their end goal. Grabbing our guns is their way to get us all there faster.

Never surrender. Never. Ever.
