I only listen to Rush occasionally, in the car, but I do remember hearing him earlier in the primaries. He was NOT a Trump fan. I heard him later, as Trump started getting pretty popular, and then he was all pro Trump. Maybe I’m just imagining, but it seems to me, that he was just jumping on the bandwagon, and not really a true believer. I still feel that way; if conservatives turned against Trump tomorrow, I think he’d drop him like a hot potato.

I have never been comfortable signing “love” to someone I didn’t love and I don’t do it now. But that was very commonly done back then, and I vaguely recall from school lessons about writing non-business letters that signing that way was generally acceptable.

Moore was never a district attorney. He was a (the?) deputy district attorney.

The yearbook is for the class of 1977, and would have been issued near the end of the school year, circa June, 1977.

It is obvious that two different people are responsible for the inscription in question. The simple answer is that the woman added the date and location later. But we don’t know how much later. It could have been done recently.

There are other questions:

Supposedly, her boyfriend was supposed to pick her up. Why did she accept a ride from Moore if that was the case? Did he call her to say he couldn’t make it? If not, then what she did was sure to cause a fight and/or end the relationship, even if Moore drove her directly home and nothing else happened.

Why did she lie about being trapped in the car when it was clear from her statement that Moore “reached across” to lock the door, meaning that there were no “kiddie locks” in the car.

“...There’s a coup that’s been underway to essentially disregard the duly constituted presidential election of 2016.”
**************************************************************************

There has been one indeed. And Alabama has proven that McConnell and his henchmen are in support of and part of that coup/resistance. The whole swamp views Trump (and Judge Moore as an avatar) as an existential threat to their rule.

Rush couldn’t understand why, when a real conservative was running (Cruz), Trump supporters would still blindly follow Trump through all the “bad things” that came up. He simply maintained he couldn’t come down on a side because to do so would screw him over if the non-endorsed candidate won—he’d lose his audience.

But he was constantly dumbfounded over how “conservatives” could so blindly follow Trump through thick and thin, because Trump had been a registered Democrat far more years than a registered Republican, and he had the Clintons to his wedding.

What is the significance of it being a Thursday?

- When did Roy Moore become a District Attorney?

According to his autobiography, Roy Moore was "sworn in as Etowah County's first full-time deputy district attorney on October 1, 1977."

- Do we know with certainty, this “year book” was circulated before or during December 1977, the date signed?

At her presser, the accuser displayed a 1977 yearbook with her name personalized on the cover. She said:

I turned 16 on November 14, 1977. About a month later I received my yearbook from Southside high school where I had spent my freshman and sophomore years. I happened to bring my yearbook to work with me to the restaurant on December 22, 1977. I put it down at the end of the counter. Mr. Moore happened to notice it and asked if he could write in "your yearbook." I felt flattered and I said “yes”. He wrote in my yearbook as follows: “To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say ‘Merry Christmas.’”

I took the yearbook home with me at the end of my shift that day. I felt honored that Mr. Moore, who was such an important person, would write in my yearbook.

I would not call that "certainty", but take it or leave it. Either she is believable or she is not.

- Were the 7’s, different ink, and different angular slants used between the writing and print, written by the same person at the same time? They are not the same.

The date and place were obviously added later, by someone other than Roy Moore. One would assume shortly after, by the owner of the yearbook, to memorialize her autograph catch. But maybe not. Could have been recently, by her, by someone else, or by her, advised by someone else. No way to have a further clue without forensic examination.

At the end of the day, I really do not see how this validates assault of any kind.

At the end of the day, it's he said, she said. Whom do you believe? That presser was a standard Gloria Allred production!

You have seen correctly.

The one with the half-blue ink is a faulty digital camera, a grassy knoll with overactive software.

Rish is an inside the beltway hack. When Boehner was Speaker he flew to FL on a regular basis to golf with Rush. I’ve noticed thst Rush refuses to state that the GOPe and the Democrats have the same exact agenda, One World Government.

The author is right. It’s not just McConnnel or Doug Jones or the WaPo. Whatever the veracity of the allegations - and believe me, I want to get to the bottom of them - the entire Globoh*mo Elite want Moore to not get into the Senate. Even if he wins, he will probably be expelled. That’s how badly the Globoh*mo elite want to quash true dissent in the Senate.

That being said, a pressure campaign should be started on the Alabama governor to appoint a true conservative, such as Mo Brooks, to the Senate when Roy Moore is expelled or refused a seat. That way, the Globoh*mo Elite will NOT get its way with somebody like Luther Strange.

And yes, whatever the veracity, vote for Moore anyway. Communists have infiltrated the Democrat party, so if anybody switches to Doug Jones, he is effectively saying, “100 million more!”

"CTH?"

It won best Conservative Blog of the year last year. It is now a must read along w/ FR and my guess is many FRer's are Treepers. Sundance was prescient during the 16' election and we all owe him a big steak for keeping our sanity. He called Trump winning by 56%, and that was the Electoral Margin, however his was for the popular vote, which makes you wonder, how big did they steal NY, CA etc especially after what they did in NH.

As far as El-Rushbo, I gave up on him 2 yrs ago now and I am a Jeff Kuhner guy, one of the best in the Country and I ain't looking back....

On Kuhner: WRKO out of Boston am680 12 to 3pm listen via their website or their free phone app.

He now has callers from all over the country. If they ever syndicate him, he will give Rush a serious run for his money....

The candidate should have been Mo Brooks, and would have been, had Trump not endorsed McConnell’s lackey.

In December, when yearbooks are typically not in great supply. Anything having to do with All-RED is automatically suspect.
