Certainly agree that they're idiots. But their behavior can conceivably be explained by gross stupidity and mindless naivete. However, Biden's is enough, IMO, to warrant a police investigation. This is some pretty serious stuff going on here.

First off, I can’t stand Franken. He and Letterman are insecure jerks who never got over being picked on in high school. It was disturbing how many liberals here in MN gushed over him back then. Unfortunately the part of the hinky stuff related to that election was that if Senator Norm Coleman had not been the deciding vote to NOT drill for oil in the Anwar area of Alaska, I contend he would have garnered enough additional votes to have pushed back from the election games that were played.

Nixon is a truly tragic figure in American history. Very intelligent, but so full of an inferiority complex that his paranoia led to his political demise. Definitely not a Kennedy/Bush silver spoon type, he worked his way up from nothing. His ardent communism led to a Trump level hatred by the leftist press. Got no thanks for ending the Vietnam War, however imperfectly. In no ways an ideal leader or even really conservative in our modern sense, he should have enjoyed a pleasant retirement instead of national disgrace.
