I don’t care what this guy cooks, but to be consistent in his beliefs he should not use gas heat, or electricity, or metal pots and pans, or metal utensils, no forks at all, no plates or Western style dish ware, no glass, no pepper, possibly no salt, no modern crops, he has to get rid of his eye glasses, his apron, and live in a mud hut, or tent like structure made of animal hides.

I’ve never liked the term ‘Native American’ as we generally use it. Aboriginal Americans makes more sense.

Real question: does any account exist of the first Thanksgiving menu, where Pilgrims & Indians participated, and which they all shared? Might be as accurate a snapshot as anything.

This Indian activism shtick is so 1970’s. Where’s Sasheen Littlefeather & Iron Eyes Cody when you need them?

And X Brands & Jay Silverheels...no, wait a sec, those two were authentic Indians. Not qualified to scold palefaces.

Funny, (not haha funny), the “native Americans” never mention or acknowledge that they are invaders and killed the previous inhabitants of America, a Caucasian race, and destroyed advanced civilizations (mound builders, etc) that were here before them.

Progressives should be nicknamed the “cry wolf brigade”.

Everything is bad. Nothing is good. All you do is wrong. Nothing is right or even okay.

Yeah, got it. Go howl your negativity at the moon. (Poor moon...)

Hmmmm. People should read the book, Empire of the Moon and look how those savages lived and how evil they treated the women who were just pathetic, brutalized slaves who did all the work in the camps.

Really sick, inhumane treatment in the “collective” cultures, like the dehumanizing collective systems of communism, socialism, fascism and Marxism where individual Natural Rights from God never existed—only tyranny and mass egalitarianism of extreme misery and suffering.

The “gentle” tribes all got wiped out by disease or other more aggressive Indian tribes, too. Not just by evil whites. Like the Asian plagues that hit Europe, the blame of most deaths of Indians can not go to “whites” who did exactly what the Indian tribes did when they came to America and continued doing to the other tribes until they wiped them out or removed them from their land. Just the nature of conquest that the Americans broke free of-—with idealism which was impossible to enforce in territories.

The warping of history and brainwashing that our children and these people have gotten is purely evil and satanic. The brainwashing has to end. The publik skools system has to be collapsed-—all Common Core burned and parents need to raise and educate their children again—do their Natural Duty and create virtue in their children like was done to our r Founders and their progeny.

...’You know, you can do whatever you want to do, but if you call your food Native American food and you don’t even have any native people on your staff, then it’s completely cultural appropriation.’

That sounds like “Nice restaurant you got here, too bad if something were to happen to it. Got a lot of unemployed bucks on the reservation, you might just want to hire a few of them.”

Funny how they write this screed while sitting in their warm house with plenty of food provided by those same Americans whom they appear to hate.

We have heard this BS from the Left way to much and are sick of it.

Lets celebrate indigenous peoples day by celebrating the savages who extracted a mans heart, cutting off his head and stabbing him a dozen times in a Maryland park. perfect!

Yes that was my understanding as well that we are supposed to say Native American and not indians.

Then again if any conversation comes up about Indian people, I’ve noticed we need to specify that we are talking about Indians from India as opposed to American Indians.

The Washington Post would be so much more at home in say, Damascus, Tehran, on the West Bank, or in the Gaza Strip.

It’s anti-American vent has gotten old these days.

Just move already. Give al Jazerra a run for the money on it’s home turf.

Yep.

Whenever some Latino associate starts quacking about Native Americanwhateveritism - I just ask “Who ate the Anasazi?”.

Reality bites!

Enslavement, infanticide, rape, torture, mass slaughter of whole species, war on unarmed non-combatants, the list goes on. Oh and there is the whole introduced Europeans to tobacco.

Anything the Europeans did to the Natives was no worse than what they did to each other and to the Europeans. Does not make either people right. But it does mean we get a very skewered view of the history of the time because ironically it is the Native Americans being white-washed.

Just to give an example, the company I work for was founded by an Indian immigrant. When I tell people that, the follow up question is always to ask what tribe, and/or did I mean American Indian or an Indian actually from India.

I’ve gotten used to just saying he’s Indian from India.

Good points. And indians got sadistic pleasure out of torturing their victims.

American indians tortured people for kicks. Didn't matter if the victim was white, red, or black. All was fair game. They would just as happily torment a fellow indian as a white man. That's how they got their jollies.

I grew up with Navajo and Hopi, there was none of this nonsense. The actual Native Americans understood people conquer people, trade with people, and “buy” things from people. They did the same before others arrived. It is liberal nonsense that white people have no right to be here.

The liberals and those that swallow their lies need to go to a country where the land was not acquired by battle, or purchased, or traded for. They should personally go in search of such a place, they need to leave this country they hate so deeply.

Some of the Indian Indians from India that I’ve known have actually used the ‘dot/feather’ expression when speaking of ‘Indians’.
