Cantor had the most humiliating primary defeat in American history—because he failed to pay attention to his constituents.

That is exactly the point.
What misdeed is there any proof Moore has done? His accusers are proven liars and the only documentation is forged, a very bad forgery, with the same forger writing for two different women.
The main accusers are contradicted by family, by the police & mall supervisors, by people that worked in the restaurant inaccurately featured by one accuser.
Two accusers/relatives received judgements in his court that they may have been unhappy with, several worked with his political opponents. One at least did drugs and was jailed for fraud, accused several other pastors of the same behavior and has a history of being uncontrollable as a young girls predating the purported incident; this behavior brought her divorced parents to court to change her custody to her father so he could control her behavior better.
Roy Moore sought his wife by dating unmarried women who were of good character and over the age of legal consent by asking their Mother if he might date them with an eye toward courtship & marriage. A bit old fashioned but hardly reprehensible. In his town girls married young and having served in the military and gone to law school first his age cohort was married. There is no shame in marrying a woman 10 years younger than you or in any specific age gap. The point is the mutual love & commitment to make a life together & to cleave to that person.
So Eric Cantor doesn’t tolerate anyone remaining in the senate if he doesn’t agree with their politics and someone has given him carte blanche by making an unfounded accusation. What a hypocrite loser!

“deserves to lose” - that’s how I sized up Eric Cantor when I pulled the lever for Dave Brat.
And “can’t do Cantor” deserves to ESAD!

The House Office on Compliance reports that the House Slush Fund paid out its largest settlement amount of 25 million in 2007 and continued to make payments as the years went by.
Cantor was made House whip in 2008, then House Majority leader in 2010. Disgusted constituents gave him the old heave-ho a few years later. “Zero”? There was a lot of toleration going on while Cantor was in the wheelhouse.
Representative Luke Messer, R-Indiana, has written legislation to end this slush fund. After this bill becomes law, if randy critters want to “play” they can pay out of their own pockets.
