Moore is likely a stepping stone or intermediate goal. Ultimately the motivation is TDS. They are sacrificing everything to their blind hatred of Donald Trump. After all, it was he who robbed them of the prize of having Hillary as the leader of the world.
In order to trap him, they raised the bar for acceptable conduct to the point Trump could be overthrown. However, they overlooked the fact that their side has been practicing sexual licentiousness for a long time and some of their own heroes and icons would be caught first.

Moore is the short term goal. They’re confident they’ll retain Minnesota, but think they can steal Alabama’s seat from Moore (either pre or post election). What an utter farce all of this is. I am a little surprised people here even do not seem to think about the Soviet Union and how the old guard there tried pushing back against forces that were exposing their contradictions and corruption more and more. It is happening in the United States now, with the help of alternative media and other means and it’s going to continue regardless of who resigns and who is elected until the corruption and greed of the DC class is fully exposed and people there are punished for it.
