As too.
Most likely pretty damned close to 100%.
The sheeple of that particular state have already shown that they will tolerate the creeping restrictions.
The Sullivan Act (I know, it only applies in NYC proper) is the most restrictive, rights-violating piece of garbage legislation known to 2AD supporters...yet, the people allow it to continue to rule their lives.
The DA of NYC, that smelly turd of a man named Cyrus Vance, lives for gun and knife prosecutions and his tame magistrates are right there with him with a "No Tolerance" policy.
Does Cyrus Vance have a concealed weapons permit?
But of course...and it's really not your business as to what HE does, you will do as he says and as the Goobner says to do and if Hizzoner Da Mayor decrees, you will polish his boots for him, too.
Cyrus Vance and his machinations spill over into the rest of the state as many municipalities just flat out deny a concealed weapon permit...no reason given and none has to be given.
Do not get stopped by a NYC State Trooper and have a pocket knife with a clip on it in your pocket.
Simply having the clip on it is considered "concealing a deadly weapon", no matter how big or what type it is and has been argued successfully in front of tame judges to be a weapon of mass destruction and serves to provide probable cause for a full search of your vehicle and your person.
And walk down the streets of that slime pit, NYC and let a member of the city's Finest see a pocket clip.
Your 4th Amendment rights went right out the window...as he will stop you and physically remove the item with the clip on it from your pocket, because he has been told that the clip in and of itself is prima facie evidence of your intent to kill him and at least 3000 other people with it.
And if he can "Wrist Flick" it and open it...you for damn sure are going to jail, for you have a, GASP!,...a dangerous switchblade, which, the mere presence of will most likely cause several around you to just burst out in uncontrolled bleeding and die.
Never mind the fact that it usually takes much practice for anyone to "Wrist Flick" a particular knife with some regularity, if he gets lucky in his repeated attempts to "Wrist Flick", he hit the jack-pot and you go to jail.
NY does not get to suspend the 2nd Amendment.
Oh, no...they would never "Suspend" it...they just flat out ignore it...and the 4th and the 5th and probably a few more.
New York...working hard to be as big of a shit hole as California already is.
Smuggled....
That’s the Ticket!
Thanks for the heads up. I will never visit New York.
Too many politicians
The protected class...........criminals.
Too many Harry Reids!
I live in a part of Pennsylvania where it’s mostly occupied by displaced New Yorkers.
Don’t invite them to live in your town. Just don’t. It ain’t worth it.
until you recognize Colorado CHP i will not even visit there, much less move there.
Even Law Enforcement In NYS has had a tough time understanding this unconstitutional law, since its inception. The bottom line is registration= confiscation.
As a former Cop in NY, I am a proponent of gun ownership. The SAFE Act is 100% unconstitutional. I was never involved in confiscation of any firearm possessed by a law abiding citizen. Hopefully the tables will turn and these leftist poli5icians getter boot.
Las Vegas is the tail that wags the Nevada dog.
Not quite sure how we’ll fix that.
Gun ownership is as safe here as anywhere. (That’s called damning with faint praise)...
I didn’t invite New Yorkers, I invited FReepers.
We have no state income tax here.
I hope that time is near.
well, that Bloomberg financed vote while very close was scary ??? I know people youd like maybe in Nevada who are scared away by the prospects of gun control? They plan to maybe go to Texas or Wyoming instead - what can we tell them about Nevada to maybe get them to reconsider Carson city or Elko or tomopah? Thanks!
Hmmmm. We’ve got brothels?
Row, row, row your boat gently down the steam
We have permit less conceal carry in Arizona
