Agree with you 110 percent. I was certain he’d stay if Moore had been elected, as it would “prove” the people don’t care. I’m not at all surprised that he found an excuse to stay anyway, even though it weakens their anti-Trump argument.

The whole manure was to try to soften his crime and make him presentable over other “gropers.” Then once they get him acceptable, they can soften others with crap like it happened so long ago or even it was an accident and was not on purpose like they did with Hilary Clinton’s computer “mistake.” And they wiped all the paperwork into the shredder.

The Democrats were willing to put Al’s head on the chopping block to give them cover and an air of (self) righteousness when resurrecting the 2016 stories of sexual harassment against Trump. When they realized that bringing back the same tired old stories and charges wasn’t making much hay for them politically, they decided that getting rid of Al wasn’t worth it after all.
Good old Joe Manchin, Fox News’s favorite “moderate Democrat,” who has always voted with Chuck Schumer on any meaningful vote. Now he’s beating the drum for that despicable clown, Franken.
There’s some buzz online that a number of Dem. congress people (maybe 10-14) will be resigning this week because they want to avoid sexual abuses being voiced about them. Just waiting to see if that transpires.
Since he didn’t resign, he never left! They are in luck!
