Britrider 2 hours agoThe Palgrave Handbook of Critical Menstrual Studies: a flowing discourse on menstruation, running iron-rich with first-person anecdotes, this handbook inserts the reader directly into the river of knowledge gathered over four decades of absorbent research. The book fully covers all aspects of menstruation, both physical and mental, and with a regularity rarely seen, seamlessly merges these aspects into modern political discourse. In a divided world, this handbook draws the reader in, fills said reader to the point of bursting with a wealth of previously discarded knowledge, and even leaves a few loose strings dangling for the reader to reflect upon. It is the must-read of The Progressive Thinker's Book of the Month.
Another social malady which is the consequence of many decades of massive debt and manipulated interest rates in our completely unbacked, fiat, Federal Reserve currency.
Printed, unbacked money and the huge debt that it entails is always the foundation of statists, leftists and social-engineers.
Thanks to political correctness, if it ain’t STEM, it ain’t sh*t.
But......the intellectual wannabes are sniffing at the alter of real university material, and never never trust them. Climate change idiocy is just a start.
Come on, real lib arts types, get out there and clean the excrement from your universities, eliminate useless departments of word excess nothingness, and submit your admin staff to torture, derision, and multiple slaps in the face with crap until they leave and go back to what they can truly do .....which is......er......uh.....
Critical Menstrual Studies? Really?
I don’t suppose I could interest them “henkster’s Guide to Taking a Dump.” It has a fascinating chapter on whether to wipe seated or standing.
And this is why we have the H-1B visa.
Your guide should include the latest in Feminist Marxist Deconstructivism.
I need to add that. Right now it only shows how man's inhumanity to man transcends the class struggle. That one line is an automatic B+ on any liberal arts paper.
And these cauldrons of Marxism and liberalism expect people to pay them money to shove this crap down the throats of their kids??
Let the sharks eat each other. Suffer the downside.
Yes, also mention how menstruation fits into dialectic materialism, and how it relates to anti-colonial struggle.
This has to be satire. It is ridiculous to think that this could actually be part of a curriculum. But if it is, to the parents paying for their little snowflake to take this as a major I say, kill yourselves now.
It isn’t part of a curriculum, yet. This is just the start of a new “Critical Studies” field complete with a journal that will have a readership in the dozens. The thing is, that the codswollop in this journal will spread its contagion to existing Women’s Studies and Gender Studies classes.
Feminists are furious about being women.
You are not far off the mark. Add that to Cultural Marxism, and you have a foul combination.
That should be published in every Academic periodical out there.
No need to pad the facts with filler, as this would cramp the author’s style.
More like communist madrasas.
I see your point and agree that "critical menstrual studies" does nothing for the American workforce. But it's a myth that H-1B fills a shortage of American STEM workers; there are millions of un- or underemployed STEM workers. H-1B is about using cheap labor to further line the pockets of corporate globalists at the expense of the American middle class.
College classes range from the viciously vile to the comically absurd. Then these kids wonder why they can’t find jobs. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so sad.
Problem is, all these college educated idiots get the good jobs, management positions and wind up running things...
...into the ground.
What’s next? Something on the order of “The New Christy Menstruals,” I suppose.
