I can get a cheeseburger and fries at a local restaurant cheaper than a cheeseburger with an equivalent amount of meat, at McDonald’s. Of course, I don’t get that refreshing watered-down coke with it. Or the chemical additives in the fries.

I do not support this at all, but quite honestly employment is so tight that most of the fast food signs I see around town start at $10.50.
In NYS, a server can make more, thanks to minimum wage tinkering, than a starting pharmacy tech. That result is not a good thing.
Yes we have UPS on the servers and network of course.
But when it’s down for 6-8 hours the batteries give out.
Constitutional amendment by referendum is a horrible idea. We have it in FL. Voters are unqualified to make the supreme laws of the state.
The kiosks are for ordering. I haven’t seen the McDonalds kiosks but I think you also pay at the kiosk. There are people actually making the food. This cuts down on having employees at the counters taking orders and payments.
I don't know why so many people dump on Taco Bell. I like the, sometimes, and their food tastes a heck of a lot better than all the C-Rations I had to eat. They're even better than most of the MREs too.
I figured. You wouldn’t think they could save much, thereby, but then I remember the baby formula company manager who found the company could save several thousand dollars a year, by eliminating salt from the formula. Trouble is, babies died without that little bit of salt in their formula.
Lower wages create more jobs, keep all wages under $1.50 and we could all have 2 or 3 jobs....some people are so stupid they make their lives stupid.
